Size is small, dont take larger space, dont feel that much heat if you put it around. Great Modem so far.

So far so good. I have always used Motorola modems (in this case it's Arris branded) and they are usually pretty bulletproof. My previous model has been the only one to fail on me but it last me several years and I'm fine with that, I don't expect to go 10 years between modems and DOCSIS standards aren't changing that often to warrant a new modem every couple years.

I had my previous Motorola Surfboard for over 5 years before it started showing signs of age. Then it turns out that Cox cable sent out a software update that made my modem disconnect from my apple wireless router. I purchased this new router not knowing that it was my cable provider's fault. However having already installing this new cable modem saw speeds that were incredible !

This modem works great and it was easy to setup. The step-by-step directions are very easy to follow.

I purchased this modem after realizing my stupidity of paying a monthly lease fee to my cable company for way too many years. There were a variety of models available but this one was at the low-end cost-wise and it has worked flawless with my cable company.

So far this modem has been a great upgrade over my previous, the Surfboard SB6141. I saw a mild speed bump over the previous because of how much larger bandwidth it can support over my previous modem, so that was great. It does get warm to the touch though. Overall I'm happy with the modem.

As I have been pleased with the Arris modems, I stayed in the same family when I needed to upgrade (from SB6183 to SB6190) due to the need to support more Wi-Fi in my home. So far, it was a great decision as the new modem is noticeably faster. Make certain you contact your cable company, as mine had to pair it with my router before it would activate. I recommend this product.

Never had a problem with it so far. The TV/cable is connected, plus the internet for 2 TVs, 2 laptops, 2 tablets and 2 fones, 2 amazon echo shows, and it has been great.

I had to replace my SB6141 today because it died during the thunder storm. No other devices were killed when it hit the tree across the street. Great new cable modem. Speed test is giving almost my provided speed from my ISP wirelessly now. One of the fastest cable modems under 100 dollars right now and waiting on the update for the DOCSIS 3.1 that will increase the dowload and upload stream speeds in the near future. Everyone always want more speed.
