This modem exceeds what I expected. It is very fast and easy to set up and manage.

I had to replace my SB6141 today because it died during the thunder storm. No other devices were killed when it hit the tree across the street. Great new cable modem. Speed test is giving almost my provided speed from my ISP wirelessly now. One of the fastest cable modems under 100 dollars right now and waiting on the update for the DOCSIS 3.1 that will increase the dowload and upload stream speeds in the near future. Everyone always want more speed.

I had been meaning to research my modem I had been charged to rent each month, and I decided to go with this model. It's working great, outputting data to my router perfectly, and it was easy to set up. I've had this for about a month and I was very pleased. Now I can start savings money on my monthly bill!

Bought this with ASUS - RT-AX55U AX1800 Dual-Band WiFi 6 Wireless Router with Life time internet Security. Comcast had recently increase internet speed so would need new router anyway. My son installed easily even with internet being down at the time! Can't believe how fast my internet is now!

The setup instructions were oversimplified, as the color combinations for the indicator lights shown in the instructions didn't match what came up on my unit. I had to call both ARRIS and my ISP to get everything to work; the former to make sure that the light combinations were OK, and the latter to register my device so that they would send the internet signal to it. After spending much time on hold on the phone and getting to the answers for my questions, the device works exactly as promised so far. I'm using it as a base for a Google Wifi mesh system and it's going great.
