Great modem for the price and supports regular speeds (not gigabit)

For the price this is a great choice. Stream movies while others use computers and phones.

Great modem. Never have to reset like old modem. Fastest internet speeds I've been able to achieve.

It's really hard to find any issues with these SURFboard modems. I've used many of them over the years. Getting them connected is super simple. Replace the modem you're renting with this one and save yourself some money. To hook it up, simply call your internet provider (ISP) and tell them you have a new modem. They'll ask you for some info that is clearly printed on the box and a few minutes later, you'll be up and running. Couldn't ask for more.

Modem was easy to set up. Just needed to call Comcast to activate it and the speed is great!!

This modem is fairly priced and works exceptionally well with Spectrum Cable. I strongly recommend it.

I made the decision to cut cable tv after 20 years, and enjoyed the experience of dropping off the equipment to their office. I had a combination modem/router rented from the cable company that was neither a good modem nor a good router. Although I was paying for "Premium 100" service, my speed test results were 47Mbps upload and 11 download. The new Arris Surfboard 6190 tested at 118Mbps and 12 Mbps download immediately upon installation. Enough said.

The ARRIS - SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - White is a good modem to replace your modem from Comcast. Speed is good and it is compact for space saver.

This modem worked very well. Immediately after installing, our internet speed tests showed a significant increase in speed. I don’t know why so many people pay a rental fee for a substandard modem. Internet providers are giving you low cost modems yet charging each month which adds up to much more if you keep them for a number of years.

We were using Spectrum provided modem and router. Finally decided to make a move. So far so good. Our mbps download speeds have almost tripled. Upload speeds went from .39 to between 11.5-12.0 when I checked after it was up and running. We also purchased a Eero 3 piece system to mesh with this. Extremely happy so far. This is a very economical choice with great results.

This is a solid modem for households that are customized by an audio/video company - for an advanced system. This modem allows a custom integrator to: access client's equip easily and consistently, fix internet issues more rapidly, control equip with ease and give the client a more robust experience in every way associated with the internet(wifi). Plus you save money be getting away from leasing a modem from the internet provider. It's a win win.

It's compact, looks nice, and does the job well. This is used for a Spectrum cable service.

I bought this as an upgrade to the SB6141 (Also works great). I am getting a slightly better response time and better speeds across this unit. -1 Star because it tends to run hot.

Very fast and reliable internet. No problems whatsoever wifi coverage really good. Highly recommended!

After researching and talking to my internet provider I chose this Modem. I went to my own Modem after having two modems fail from my internet provider and slower speeds than what I was paying for. I have 400 Mbps and I was only getting 200 from the provider. So I got the Dashboard that was rated up to 1.4GBps if I decided to upgrade my speed. I have no trouble streaming movies of working from home. Great product.

We were not getting the benefit of all out Comcast Internet and our Internet was cutting out, but service from Comcast was not the issue. Upgrading to this modem solved our service interruption issues and increased our speed. Eventually, we'll need to replace our router as well, but for now we're more than satisfied. I also purchased one of these for my mother's home, and her internet works much better too.

I gave my provider their not so great router and got this along with the Linksys mesh system and have never been happier with my signal strength. This unit is super simple to hook up and then add the wifi portion. No more rental for a less than good wifi router from my provider. I have a fax line as well for work and this made it all so simple.

You’re probably wondering why I gave five stars to a product that didn’t work with my cable company. The reason is that the cable company doesn’t support the advanced standards of this modem. It’s a cable company issue not a modem issue. That being said the modem itself is well-built, well packaged and was easy to set up. If you have a compatible cable service like Comcast you will do well to consider this modem.
