This modem was exactly what i was looking for. It is very fast and easy to set up.

I decided to cut the Comcast rental cord so after reading favorable online reviews I purchased this modem at my local Best Buy. It took a while with a Comcast online chat representative to get it added to my account, but once done it has worked like a champ. No problems what so ever. It does appear to be faster than my old one but the best part is it will be paid off in rental savings before I know it.

I know enough about routers/modems to get myself into all kinds of trouble. Mind you, the last time i bought a modem was 8 years ago. I blocked off a half a day to install the modem, but it only took about 15 minutes to install & the instructions were easy to follow. Hardest part was calling my ISP to allow the router to connect to their network. Very user friendly, especially for a novice like me.

I own this modem and it’s performance has been great despite the extreme usage. It works so well I decided to purchase one for a family member to help improve their internet performance (and it did).

It's always worth buying one of these modems to save yourself the rental fees most ISPs will charge you. They pay for themselves in less than a year. So far the SURFboard has allowed me to easily maintain speeds over 200mbps with Spectrum and saved me about 200 dollars and counting.

The ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem is quick and simple to install and configure. A short call to my ISP and we were up and running in minutes. Paired with a new Securfi Almond Router and the internet was running faster than ever in a matter of minutes. The days of dropped connections and disconnects have completely disappeared - overall the Arris modem is ****** quality!

Thanks to a deal on an eero WiFi set-up, I found myself in need of a new, faster modem. This one does the trick. The hardest part was getting Comcast to make the switch (they hate when people own their own equipment). Once it was set up and running with the eero, my internet speeds more than doubled!

Bought this modem because I wanted to increase my internet speed and also did not want to pay the Time Warner monthly rental fee that came with the new modem they provided. I was hesitant in doing so, but decided it was a no brainer since I would recoup the cost of this router in a year. No problems at all since I bought it which was a couple of months ago. I highly recommend it.

The size is small which i like it more it doesn't get hot easily. Perfect.

I use this modem with Mediacom service. It is much faster speed than the one that I was renting and I have 200 Mbps service. I use this with an Apple Airport and it works great! I also like that it has an energy saving feature for when there is little activity.

For years I wondered why my internet was bogging down during peak hours. Called the cable company and made sure I was on their fastest plan. At least that is what I have been paying for. Now by upgrading to my own modem instead of the company issued one we are now experiencing the speed that we have been paying for. Simple installation and works flawlessly with our new Orbi router.

Easy to set up and replace rental modem. Marked improvement in internet.

So to start off, my internet plan with comcast is 150mbps. My old modem was the motorola sb6121, i was getting 130mbps download speed with this modem. I bought this modem because it was the best they offered and to future proof. With this modem i was getting 174 mbps consistently! That's a 44 mbps increase!! It's also great owning this modem so i don't have to lease one from the cable comp. Great buy!!
