    Pretty disappointed ASTROS products. Headset cable eventually gives out and needs to be replaced. After many times of replacing the cable, headset can partially be heard through one side or nothing at all. Definitely recommend purchasing the warranty for these. Did not get my money’s worth.

    Headphones broke off , right side came off and on top of that , the delivery person left the box outside while it was raining

    I bought it and traveled to another country. However the mixamp aux input is broken I had to put a tape just for it to work and it still keeps cutting off.

    Ability terrible and waste of money unusable in the caliber it is sold as worthless as a high filler head set on ps4 who pays $300 for a headset you have to buy a 80 adapter just to use I a thoroughly disappointed in this product

    Don't Waste your money

    For $230 (got it on sale for $179.99) this probably has to be the worst headset I have ever purchased. Maybe i just got a piece of junk. I dont know. Ive owned a few pairs of Gen 1 A10s so i figured id try to upgrade (Turtle Beach 700 Gen 2) to the A40s TR w/ Mixer. Day 1 with the headset my wife and I were playing Fortnite. She was only able to hear about everyother word I was saying. I tried unplugging the microphone, the mixer, the cable that goes to the headset, nothing worked. I was beginning to get frustrated. I made a support ticket with astro to see if they would offer a replacement microphone. That was 2 weeks ago. Ive since got no response from "Logitech" gaming. So some technical issues but this is a one star review so there is more. Sound Quality is a 3/10 There is no Highs or Lows it's a very monotone Mids. Audio sounds so dry and empty and at that point I knew how truly awful this headset is. No Audio range at all. Couldnt believe a gaming headset did have good audio range. In my opinion i think the A10s have a significantly better audio range. Next is comfortablility. Its about a 2/10. The "cushions" are stale. They dont provide any comfort at all. After about a hour my ears started to hurt. And the cushion at the top of the headset that rests on your skull is just as bad. Again for a MSRP of $230 its hard to believe Logitech can sell this garbage to consumers. Do not waste your money on this. There are plenty of better and CHEAPER headsets on the market. Hopefully my reviews convinces you look at other brands and to stay away from Astro (Logitech's Money Grab) Gaming. Thank you and Have a nice day/night/weekend/Holiday.

    Defective/broken item when purchased

    Bought a used one. I don’t think it was looked over properly or checked out well. I understand I bought this second hand but it was out back on the shelf saying it was certified and check. When I received it and set it up the headphones did not work. One of the plugs for the cord to the headset was bent out of place. Only one of the earphone sides worked. When it did it cut in and out as if it was a white noise machine. I’m sure if I got a brand new one I would not have had that problem. Just a. Defective/broken unit that was supposed check out and confirmed it was ok to put back on the shelf to be sold.

    Voice chat stopped working after owning these headphones 6 months. Huge disappointment as they were comfortable. I paid the premium price for quality and longevity after trying seventy other high end headphones. Sad to say, it was not worth it.

    So I recently purchased thea40 tr. I exchange them for a40 with the mixamp. O go home and try to hook it up with my PS5. I then released that I needed to buy another adapter so I would be able to have it work. I spent $300 without the adapter. I will be refunding these tomorrow. My recommendation is hyperX headset. Have the price and awesome sound quality.

    This is the 5th Astro I have purchased, love them, I bought my last Astro from Best buy because I had a 10% discount. As I was picking it up I realized the Astro I had was a PS4 not my Xbox. Upon returning the Astro, I also lost my 10% coupon. I would like to get this coupon back to re-purchase.

      That's unpleasant to hear. Be sure the cable is seated correctly in both the headset and MIxAmp. You should feel the cable click into place. Check the headset assigns to the console or PC you’re using it on. On the back of the MixAmp, switch the MixAmp from Console mode to PC Mode and then back to the correct device you’re on. If the issue is still not resolved, we'd recommend you to please contact the customer support team so that they can let you know the next steps at the earliest.

    I had bought the open box because the rating said “ excellent” turns out only audio coming from left ear. I guess they didn’t check to see the quality thoroughly, and only rated it by appearance.

    The headset is good but the delivery was not the best, for one it didn't even come in a extra box it they just stuck a label on the actual headset box which wouldn't be a big deal but the extra box is to protect the headset and lastly the actual headset box came dented thankfully the actual headset wasn't damaged

    Honestly didn’t like the head set everyone said they could hear everything in the background and I could hear everyone too zero noise cancellation from both the mic and headset and that’s that I wanted so I got the hyper x orbit s and they are the GOAT

    They were great til i started streaming with them then once I did that the mic and audio sounded like they came out of a tin can i liked this headset for the 2 weeks i had it returning it tomorrow if best buy will even let me.

    I bought these open box. It said “perfect condition.” I have no idea if they work, I return them because when I got home and opened the box the smell of cigarettes was to much! Made me feel Sick.
