    Open Box condition misrepresented

    I really like the computer itself and I like Best Buy. But on this occasion the condition of the open box was misrepresented. The description read "Excellent" but all that arrived was the computer and power supply. No paperwork at all. According to ASUS the computer comes with a USB-A to RJ45 gigabit ethernet adapter, a ProArt branded backpack, and warranty/manual documentation. I didn't want to hassle with a return and I got a good price, so I kept it. But, since you asked my option...

    Best Buy sent filthy broken laptop

    I ordered an “Open Box - Excellent” ProArt P16 online. I pay for next day delivery, which doesn't happen because the package wasn't given to UPS for two days. When I finally received the laptop, I opened the box to find a filthy laptop that looked like whoever repackaged it had just finished a greasy cheeseburger and didn’t take the slightest modicum of care to clean the laptop. Ok, not a deal breaker… However I then notice there is a big scrap through the paint and down to the metal on the bottom of the laptop… Again, not a total dealbreaker, but I paid for the “Excellent” open box, which states that the product “looks like new”, so it really isn’t acceptable. Whatever, I move on and set up the laptop and go to watch a youtube video to test the speakers… Lo-and-behold, the speakers are broken, the sound coming out sounded like blown earbuds being played from across the room, DEALBREAKER!!! So I take the laptop to exchange it at a local Best Buy that has them in stock because I have school work to do and need the computer right away. Best Buy staff make no attempt to make the issue right, not even the slightest discount for the awful experience. I paid full price for the new laptop, which is an excellent computer, by the way. Maybe I am entitled, but I feel that there should have been some concession made to make the issue right. I wont be buying open box from Best Buy ever again, TERRIBLE!

    Seems like it could be a workhorse fir photo editing. However, mine had to be returned because one if the keys kept sticking. Waiting for a replacement.

    We have been using this for a couple weeks now. The computer is fast and powerful. We use it for a lot of graphics and photo editing. So far it has been more them we could have hoped for.

    Love the computer in general. We literally only have the EA Manager/sims 4 (NO MODS), adobe photoshop/premier installed on it, chrome, and Discord. We use this as a content-creating powerhouse. Would even say 5 stars but this is the second time we have gotten a blue screen of death. Best Buy fixed once and it happened again probably for an auto update? They cannot seem to help us apart from resetting computer or explain what is causing the problem since those are literally the only programs we have downloaded. Super sad. Maybe we got a lemon. no idea NEVER had this happen with any of our other PCs ever.
