In my opinion this is currently the best purchase you can make if youre looking to build a PC from scratch but the gpu shortage is making it difficult. Most other prebuilts aeound the 15 to to 1600 price point only come with a 10th gen cpu and 3060... 3060 ti if youre lucky. Excellent motherboard l, good enough psu, case is kinda tacky looking but it geys the job done. The only thing wrong is the coing system. Id HIGHLY recommend getting a new cooler. There isnt much room but i managed to put an msi coreliquid 240 water cooler in it and it instantly dropped 40c on idle... this cpu runs hoooooooot. The cooler i bought was a bit in the higher price side at 110 bucks but there are certainly oprions under 70 that will do just as good of a job. Ill post pics to show my placement. Overall i could be happier with the system. How they managed this price point is beyond me. If you load all the components in this PC with the current ridiculously high prices of computer parts youll see that if you built this system yourself it would actually cosy about 100 to 200 dollars more which absolutely blows my mind. I cant possibly recommend any other prebuilt more than this one. Alao received it in 3 days which was just icing on the cake! If it isnt available when you're looking at this just be patient. They restock this PC multiple times a day so just keep refreshing every few hours.... if you bought this product and are now looking at this review well then congratulations!!! You just made and amazing purchase and beat out everyone else you know who paid the same amount for their prebuilt in terms of quality of parts and specs!

I bought this computer a few days ago. Like everyone else says the cooling in this system must be addressed immediately. I bought a Corsair AIO ICUE H100i Elite Capellix. This system runs extremely hot, legit makes my room hotter and I have a pretty big room. I feel like whoever manufactures these definitely knows that the one 94mm exhaust isn’t even moderately close to enough to cool these components. I mean why not throw a better cooling system and up charge a little. Instead you have a ton of unhappy customers and they obviously don’t care because they wouldn’t let them go out like this. This is extremely unacceptable when the final price is just under $1,750.00 after tax. Then you have to go buy a cooler $100-200 mine was $165.00 after tax. Now we’re pushing almost $2000.00. If I decide to keep I’d have to buy a case because this one is extremely tight and getting more case fans in will be a rigging challenge of its own. I highly recommend looking else where if you’re not comfortable modding it does take some work and time it’s not just “2 screws” like I read on another review. I got this build because finding a 3,000 series is a joke right now. I’m highly contemplating on returning this.I built another rig that had a 3900x AMD CPU and a 2070 Super that definitely out performs this rig easily. Gaming and other tasks. It’s a shame they’re letting this go out the door and into customer hands this way. You should want your customers to be happy and come back for seconds or more. There’s no way I’d ever buy a prebuilt from them again. One of the biggest sellers is word of mouth. What do you do when your customers are unsatisfied. Absolutely nothing and you keep sending them out that way, it’s honestly sad. I give it a 2 star because at-least it works and you can game on it. It is everything but a stellar experience though. Cable management is pretty good but if you throw a 240mm AIO you will have to take the wire cover off unless you strip and reroute the wires. This is definitely not my first rodeo and this wasn’t a fun experience. It’s not fair that I have to go spend all this extra money to get a decently functioning machine because the manufacturer just flat out doesn’t care about their customers happiness. The Ram is extremely cheap, the SSD is as well. The best components are the MOBO, CPU (LOCKED) and GPU. The other components were cheap. I’m not expecting to get a Thread ripper, and a 3090 for $1750 but I’m also not expecting to get something that should be around $1200. Please make your future customers happy since you could barley make your present customers happy. Please start listening to your customers we’re the ones who make your job and business possible.

I wanted to give it more than 3, honestly, if only because the price and components make it the best prebuilt you can buy in the past several months. However, the case and cooling are abysmal, especially when it has to cool such strong parts like the i7 11700f and a RTX 3070 with a sweet little Strix mobo that has plenty of USB ports and WiFi. Other than the notorious Intel stock cooler, it only has the most petite exhaust fan, that has no chance to do its job with any success. THE REAL KICKER is what I discovered when I went to install a better CPU cooler. I'll attach the photo. Spoiler alert: It's the worst thermal paste job I've ever seen, ever. And this is prebuilt by professionals at Asus, I thought. Or maybe a robot in a factory is responsible, either way, this is sad. Especially when most people buy prebuilt so they can plug and play. Normal customers don't want to deal with why their CPU temp is rivaling the surface of the sun. My other complaints are minor: -My GPU is right up against the chunky mobo IO thing that Strix decided to use. It is barely able to be plugged into the top PCIe slot where it's supposed to be. I hope it doesn't scrape off GPU paint if I need to remove it. -The tiny Strix mobo does NOT have an optical cable hole. I never realized it until my $300 Astro A50 headset was the last thing to plugin, and I couldn't find the optical port. That sucks. Now my headset it sounds like crap and the surround might as well be turned off.

Price is OK. Build quality is good. But case is terrible with only 1 small rear exhaust fan and stock CPU cooler fan. In order to make it work, replace CPU cooler, remove the PSU shroud cover and add 2 front 120mm fans + 1 120mm and 1 92mm on top.

Wow, compter sounds like a jet fan. Swapped out cpu cooler for a Vetroo V5 that fits perfectly. Also added two 120mm fans in front, but had to drill an extra hole to reroute the power wire. Wish there was a spare hole to run it. Also swapped out rear 92mm fan in back and added another 92mm fan up top to the left of the cpu cooler. It was tight, as there are pegs from the top cover to account for. To take off the top cover, there is a cover over the handle that is hiding two screws. Just pop it off to expose them. All the little pegs and clips are flimsy as well. A few of mine are broken now. I might get a new case if I see on I like and swap. If you're not comfortable doing a little computer work, then this pc is not for you.

The motherboard on my PC died and as I was looking to build or buy, this PC caught my eye. I believe it’s worth it due to the current GPU costs alone. The PC booted up fine and didn’t seem to have any issues, but the case is definitely small for the 3070 and the cooling is sub-optimal. After reading the reviews, I decided to by a new case, the Corsair 4000d airflow case, along with the Corsair - iCUE H100i Elite Capellix. Got everything installed and it’s running really well! Just be sure you know what your doing if you decide to go that route.

I got this after having read reviews about the bad cooling and fans and stuff, so I planned on upgrading it eventually. But holyyyyy, I didn’t expect it to be as bad as it was. Straight out of the box, this thing can’t handle games and sounds like an old vacuum cleaner. Loaded up games like PGA 2k21 and Warzone and the cpu temp was in the 90s and topping out at 100. CPU cooler and exhaust fans (both 92mm) were a joke. Not nearly enough airflow to handle the heat in that tiny case. Also, the thermal paste looks like it was applied by a child who thought they were fingerpainting. Terrible. I ended up getting a Noctua NH-U9S off Amazon. Most coolers/heatsinks are too bulky, but it fit perfectly and lowered the cpu temp a good 20 degrees while gaming. I also got a couple extra 92mm fans and mounted one as an intake and replaced the exhaust fan as well. This lowered it another 10 degrees or so. Usually around 65-70 degrees while gaming. Not bad, but could still be better. THEN, I did what I should have done in the beginning… upgraded the case. I bought an NZXT H510 case, which comes with 4 120mm fans pre-installed and has more than enough room for all the components in the ROG setup. I kept the same cpu cooler, installed everything in the new case, and it’s now running at around 50-60 degrees while gaming and it’s not loud at all. Plus, the case has some nice rgb lights that add a little flare to the look. Overall, it’s worth it if you’re willing to spend the money on the case/cooling. Especially with 3070s being limited in availability and sometimes overpriced, finding a rig with a cpu and gpu of that quality for that price is great. There definitely is some value in it. I consistently get 120fps in warzone and every other game I’ve tried runs really smooth. Gave it 2 starts simply for that. HOWEVER, if you don’t want to put any work into a pc and just want to game out the box, don’t get this.

      Dear Matt,

Thank you for writing a coment and for sharing your experience with the PC. We do understand your concern about thermal issues.

The cooling system in the PC is adequate to dissipate excessive heat efficienctly while under heavy load. It is normal for the desktop PC, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.

Honestly I think Asus is taking advantage of the gpu shortage. It's a decent price for the parts, but CLEARLY the stock cooler isn't good enough to these hot intel CPUs. The temps with the side panel on as intended regularly hit 100c sometimes just with minor stuff. The CPU is thermal throttling like it's no tomorrow! You can go the cheapo rout and take off the side panel for a bit extra airflow and dropped temps. But more dusting will be needed. Alternatively you could just upgrade the cooler. But keep in mind that the computer case is alot thinner than your typical PC case, so either a low profile air cooler or an AIO will be needed if you want your side panel to close. It's a shame but even so this is a GREAT deal in the current hellscape that is PC buying/building right now.

Everything about this ASUS computer is impressive from its customizable light display pattern to its boot-up speed. However, when the insides get warm, watch out! The installed fans are not adequate in keeping you from getting the blue screen of death (BSOD) or an automatic shutdown. If you are computer handy and savvy, you will need to install a more efficient cooling system. Also, be aware that the case is tight, so your cooling system will need to be scaled to fit in the tight space. If you use your computer for light usage, then you will probably never notice any issues. However, if you are a gamer or use resource-intensive applcations, you have been warned.

This prebuilt offers some pretty quality parts for the price. It includes a Strix motherboard, strix GPU, a 512GB M.2 drive for the operating system and another 1TB HDD, and the 11700f i7 cpu. The case leaves something to be desired though as it only has 1 exhaust tower fan in the rear and the CPU cooler is the stock one that comes with the cpu. Add some extra fans and a better CPU cooler and this is an awesome machine.

The case is too small to fit 120mm tower-style cpu coolers. ---------------------------Conclusion--------------------------- It will be a good PC only if you upgrade the cooling solution. The stock setup is loud, hot and will not provide the full performance the CPU is capable of. Which is a shame, as the components would combine to make a solid gaming PC at a great price. Get a 92mm tower style cpu cooler (e.g. be quiet! BK030 Pure Rock Slim 2) and at least one 120mm intake fan or a 240mm AIO liquid cpu cooler. Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear about the issues you're having with this model. The noise that is emitting from the computer is known as coil whine. When the electrical current is increased to a certain point, the magnetic field around the coil can cause it to vibrate, which produces the whiny sound. After a short amount of time the noise should go away as the components regulates. However, if it is that the sound is too much for you, then we would recommend that you have this device sent in for servicing.

Happy that this was in stock during this latest mining boom. A few cons worth noting: -The case only comes with 1 exhaust fan, and no intake fans. Filling those fan slots is definitely a must, unless you like frying your PC components. FYI, no space to screw them, so get your handy dandy zip-ties ready. - The CPU cooler they used is an absolute joke for 11700F (aka a pocket sized fusion reactor). Definitely get a better cooler on there ASAP. Thermal throttling happens way too often to say its properly cooled. -The case is mostly proprietary, and upgradability to within the case (not the motherboard) is near non existent past zip-tying fans. A case swap would be recommended, but isn't 100% necessary. Now, the pros: + Mine shipped with the Asus Dual 3070 non-LHR. + Solid MOBO so far, been able to tighten my ram timings no problem. +RGB on the case is pretty sick in my opinion, NGL. Bottom line; if you want a pc with a RTX 3000 series that is in stock often, and have some extra fans & a cpu cooler laying around, go for it!

System: - 2 x 8gb 3200mhz ram - Motherboard with 4 ram slots - ASUS RTX 3070 with dual fan - Power supply 750watts gold+ Pros: - RTX 3070 at $1600 at my time of purchase was a good deal...the supply was really low and price was so high - Small case with handle on top for easy access...I kind of like the style of my case - The system is great for most games and activities you can think of - The system works and sets up is easy... I have had bad luck 3 times with prebuilt desktop from ibuypower and cyberpowerpc... It is nice to bring the desktop home and be able to use it rightaway without the need to call tech support or send it to manufacture and wait for 2-4 weeks for return just to find out they still mess it up - Not many bloatware like HP from my memory Cons: - The side is plastic (not glass) and does not have easy access feature - The case is so small that it makes upgrading or adding more fans a bit difficult - 1 x 80/90mm case fan at the back....the only fan!!!!!!!!! - The CPU can get really hot....around 60C with only a few chrome tabs....with games, it will get constant 80C Upgrade: - I add in 5 x 120mm rgb fans for $30 from amazon: 2 front, 1 top, 2 bottom...The CPU temp is much better....40C with a few chrome tabs and about 70C-80C (avg 75C) with games - I plan to add in Noc CPU cooler in the near future which hopefully get the temp to be in the 60C with game Overall: - Great purchase with decent set up...If you don't have the time and effort to build your own, it is a good buy for $1600....obviously, when covid is over and the supply is better, $1600 is overpriced...I would be super happy with $1400-1500

I bought this hoping for a smooth out-of-box pc with a nice GPU. Well, it wasn't smooth at all. I followed other's suggestions and bought a corsair H100i AIO. This fit after a little bit of work on the front. Although it did help, the airflow on the front is so poor that it had to operate at its peak to keep the CPU somewhat cool. My next upgrade was 32GB of corsair vengeance as I run lots of FEA studies for my work. I added an intake fan on the top using some zip ties. There are no mounting holes on the top. Why? No idea. The only fan that comes with this is a small, super loud exhaust fan. Who designed this? After all of this extra work, I had a VERY noisy machine, and it was still thermal throttling. I recently bought a corsair iCUE 4000X case. This solved all of my problems. The GPU and CPU are MUCH cooler in this case and can operate faster. I got a 40% increase in FPS from better airflow/cooling. Oh, and it's near silent. ASUS engineers should be ashamed of themselves for building such a terrible case. I do not recommend this product unless you are in dire need of a GPU. I've spent well over $2k on this project. If I were to start again, I'd go another route.

This PC is one fine machine with some flaws. It has good components from the factory for the price. Had to upgrade to Noctua fans for better heat management. The tower doesn't have much room inside for big upgrades such as a liquid cooling system, it would be very crammed with a radiator and hoses. Overall its good and i am satisfied.

Like all the other comments, the cpu needs better cooling system. I play warzone at 2k 120 fps and my cpu and gpu get around 70*C (after I installed 3 case fans) But this is a great bang for buck considering the prices on 3070s at the moment. Looking to install a aio to lower the temp for the cpu. If you are looking at making this a streaming set up, do get more ram. The motherboard is quite small, but the case is small as well. And when trying to install fans to the front of the case. make sure you do not rip off the power button in the front. I ended up doing that and now the latch that connects the power button is broken and i have the hang the button cord through the vent.

It's not a machine you can use without modification. The CPU is no cooled properly, but a quick little 30 dollar heat sink can fix that. The case isn't the best, but it does the job, I even fit another GPU into the case and it fits and works with the same power supply.

Pros: Good GPU and decent CPU. Cons: Everything else inside is junk. EVERYTHING. I would say don't get this unless you know how to do the work or know someone. The case is the smallest case possible at that too so doing the work is fun too. In my opinion, you're going to need to get a whole new case or get a cpu cooler which I don't see why they put that dinky whatever it is on the CPU. Overall you're better off just getting a new case if you already got it and regretting it like because I'm just now reading the reviews. I got excited seeing a good GPU and decent CPU so I just ordered it. Hopefully you don't mess up like me and see this before hand.

We all know what you're here for. Most people have already posted the specs, It's built solid but this case is horrible. There is literally no room to add any extra HDD's, but they give you extra SATA cables so thats nice. All the parts are great but definitely needs better cooling. The stock Fan on the CPU isn't going to cut it for most intensive games and there is no room for any liquid cooling fans but some space for a larger fan . Dump the case a get a new one then this is 5 stars. Part value is nice, especially with GPU prices nowadays.

Guts are solid but the case is a dumpster fire. No room to mount fans along the top of the case since the motherboard is jammed right up to the top but there looks to be some space at the front to hopefully squeeze a radiator. This pc comes with a stock intel CPU cooler, 1 exhaust fan and 0 intake fans which is FAR from adequate. CPU temps regularly hit 100C before the jet turbine of an exhaust fan kicks on and helps to pull some air out only to have it immediately hit 100C again when the fan kicks back off. In my particular unit, the CPU cooler was also installed terribly where they somehow used about 4x more thermal paste than was necessary but still had big air pockets between the CPU and heatsink. Temps are better after reseating the CPU cooler but are still much hotter than I'm comfortable with. I haven't dared to benchmark anything yet for fear of it literally catching on fire from lack of cooling components. If you are willing to put extra time, money and creativity into getting more cooling crammed into this tiny case then it's an ok buy at best. Overall, I would not recommend this pc.
