For my gaming pc and my friends, I will only recommend Asus. They know what it takes to make a quality motherboard, this is the brand I trust for my workstation/gaming needs. I love the RGB implementation, and the quality of all the components, the included Wifi antenna is nice. Cons: only 1 m.2 slot is under a heatsink, the other slot is in the open but there is a bracket for a fan (not included), I would have preferred both slots under heatsinks. The fan header placement is kinda awkward, but there is plenty of headers. The built-in IO shield is nice but makes installing in most cases very difficult to make the stand off holes line up. Lastly, good board but over $200 is quite pricey for a motherboard, but hey, it's a Maximus line...

Asus is one of mine favorite computer motherboard, I like this MB a lot, it has all the features that you need, build in on board wifi, Bluetooth, RGB lighting effect, go get it, you wont regret.

Did a new build with an Intel i8700k processor, 32gb ddr4 ram and 1tb ssd drive. This board had all the features I wanted. Easy build with tons of options. Easy setup with a great user manual.

I am receiving points in the ROG Elite Rewards loyalty program for my review. The motherboard is amazing. No issues with building my PC. Looking forward to gaming on it for the next couple of years.

Used this in a new PC build I did about a month ago, easy to install and setup. Paired it with an i7-8700K, 32 GB (16x2) DDR4 3200 MHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 1 TB SanDisk SSD, 250 GB Samsung M.2 NVME, and a 4 TB WD 5400 HDD for storage. Installed it all in a Corsair case, and haven't looked back. Mostly use this rig for photo and video editing, but love being able to game on it too if the mood strikes. ;) I've built computers since I was a teenager, and ASUS has always been reliable. Don't hesitate to get this board!
