You can get Hall effect joysticks in other controllers for less money.

181 mistake

I got this thinking it would replace my xbox elite 2 controller. Boy was i wrong. This thing feels very cheap and has cracking plastic. The rgb is a gimmic and the oled screen is pretty usless and not justified by the price. The elite controller came with a hard shell case swapables d-pad and joysticks and back buttons. I would definitely not recommend this product unless you can get it for under $100. Get an elite 2 instead

Unfortunately right out of the box the right joystick had a clicking and sticking movment to it. It felt aweful and made a clicking sound everytime you moved the right joystick. The general quality of materials and feel of the device is not what I would expect from $170 controller. It felt light and cheap. The Xbox Elites and the new PS5 controllers are far ahead in terms of quality and overall feel.

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, the issue with the controller is random. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. We recommend that you had it replaced by BestBuy is still within the store policy or send the product in for service in order to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately. Joy coke feel a little more stiffer then the original XBOX series X controller it came with which i perfer. I use this paired with the ROG ALLY to a portable screen and love it. Recommend highly.
