    Good idea but not at the price. This at most is like 40-50bucks not 170+ ... the entire controller is plastic and the buttons don't feel good at all..

    Decent but Wait for a Sale

    I have mixed feelings about this controller. You need to plug it into a USB connection to configure it and make Crate recognize it. Then you can build your button mappings/profiles, change lighting and unplug it and use it wirelessly. Speaking of wirelessly, the USB dongle it comes with doesn't work in PC. It pairs fine but none of the buttons do anything except the xbox button brings up an overlay. It wasn't until i paired it with bluetooth on my PC that it actually did anything. Maybe the USB dongle is just if you want to use it with xbox? I don't know. Buttons: I find the upper under-buttons hard to hit with my large hands but the under buttons i can hit with the tips of my fingers. The regular buttons/triggers feel alright. They're not clicky but they work fine. I'm not a fan of the bowl D pad though I wish it was removable and came with a + option for this kind of price. The LCD, you can load your own graphics in there or you can pick some of the pre-loaded animations. It turns off after a few seconds though so it's really only razzle dazzle when you first turn it on. Otherwise you use it to change profiles, check the status or put it in Wireless, Bluetooth or Console mode. Battery life seems decent i've got probably 8-10 hours on it now and not had to charge it yet. Weight is pretty light. Compared to my xbox Elite and even Xbox standard controllers, this is much lighter. So ya... it's an Ok option in the marketplace but for the money you're getting a lot of razzle dazzle . If you just want a solid built controller i think the Elite2 Core is probably a better value and build quality.

    I wouldnt recommend. Need a pc to fully take control and only wireless on pc.

    Coolest Controller out there. But only xbox and windows (I tried a ton of times to connect Other platforms with 8Bitdo adapter but doesn’t work). Not durable

    First unit came with mushy back buttons and what i guess is front shell misalignment, making click noises every time you hold the controller, second unit no click noises but still mushy back buttons , third unit had perfect back buttons but terrible cracking noises and misalignment . Strongly do not recommend, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME !! Not worth it

    Xbox elite series 2 is way better. Battery is 4 times bigger, accesories are better.

    More of a gimmick than anything. Doesn’t do anything the Xbox elite controller doesn’t already do. Can’t change RGB unless plugged in. OLED screen is frustrating at best. Don’t waste your money on it.

    Controller feels really cheaply made. The back buttons are unusable unless maybe you have a childs hand… Returning and buying a elite controller for less money.

    Arrived defective. Is stuck in profile #2 mode, have not found any info. anywhere on how to hard reset the controller, will be returning.

    Not a necessary item

    The controller is fine but for the price isnt essential. If you intend to use the rog ally as a handheld the availabke attached controllers are great and if you intend to use it as a desktop device tbe razor wired controllers a better and more responsive, as well as third party ones you can find both on best buy and other sites for much cheaper.

    Cheaply made and way too expensive

    For the same price as the Elite series 2, this controller should be about the same in quality. However it feels like a 50 dollar controller with an added LED screen that serves no purpose. The paddles are worthless because you cant evern reach them. And to top it all off, if you want to remap the buttons you will need to downlaod the app on your pc first. Which is annoying when I purchased it for xbox. Just save yourself the trouble an either buy a 50 dollar controller or pay the same for an elite series which isnt made entirely out of plastic like this one. At least with the Elite controller it feels like i should be paying more for it.

    Best looking XBox controller out there. As a PC gamer, I don‘t care about the fact it can only connect to an XBox through a wire. My biggest disappointment though, are the pre-programmable rear buttons on the back, thought programmable buttons meant you could remap the buttons however you wanted and on any platform, e.g. mobile app or PC? Overall, it’s nice, I do like it, yet a bit pricey. But I‘ll keep it as a collection to all of  the controllers I have.
