    Monitor not worth buying

    I bought this monitor this year and have not used it much until I was going to move into my new home, I open up the box and set up the computer with the monitor and it no longer works. you just can't but anything that's worth something anymore.

      We do understand your disappointment if the monitor will no longer work.



      Usually, you will do the following to resolve the issue. Please verify if the video cable is working properly and connected to the monitor using known good video cable and the correct input source from the monitor was selected correctly. Check the AC adapter was properly connected from the monitor to a working surge protector or AC outlet and the power button is being pressed all the way down to trigger a power on signal. Also, please a different video port from the PC.

    Worked for two weeks.

    Worked for two weeks. When it did work it had a beautiful picture, the screen splitting was not very user friendly, but I was able to figure it out. I took the monitor back to Bestbuy and they deemed it not repairable. I was issued a full refund. Since I had purchased it on sale and open box, the refund was not enough to purchase the same screen as a replacement because it was no longer on sale.

    Definitely not as good of a picture as my 17" ROG laptop. I returned this to the store for credit.

    DP didn't work, Controls are Aweful!

    The DP coming from my HP laptop dock didn't work. I tried another port, making sure the cable was tight etc nothing worked. Also the controls for this thing is aweful, it's not very intuitive and the joy stick is too sensitive. I returned it after hours of trying to troubleshoot. No thanks.

    Bad monitor

    Its horrible. Colors are off. Games have weird shadows. It feels slow compaired to my last old montitor. Not worth the 900$ i paid for.

    Great until it wasn't

    This monitor is a great productivity in gaming monitor it has a perfect resolution to size ratio which makes it easy to run fun to play video games on and easy to get work done I own the product for about 2 years and 9 months and at that point it started making a loud popping noise and white lines started to appear on my screen. I took a video of this and then the next day the monitor would not turn on at all. So Im still within asuses warranty. So I am going to send it out for R. MA the honest product review. Will be when I receive it and see how a sus deals with R. M. A.

    Cons: Sound quality is extremely quiet. Got a ton of ghosting. Might've been due to clocking it to 144 Hz. Regardless, not a pleasant site. Comes out the box running 60 Hz. No real instructions to get it set to 144 Hz. Way more convoluted than it should've been. Several settings have to be adjusted beforehand. Which aren't explained with the documents you get. Pros: Color is spot on. Didn't notice bleeding even in dark scenes. Aesthetically pleasing. Externally and the screen itself when not gaming. Either way, this monitor is not worth the price tag. I could recommend it at $500 at best in this market.
