It changes colors but you can barely type in that mode. This isn't a Mechanical Keyboard, the keys are way too soft. This keyboard is nothing special for the high price. I'd send it back but it might be useful in the future for someone else. I wouldn't recommend this keyboard unless you like wasting money.

You can tweak it with your windows settings and it will still findba way to go back to default settings. The keyboard does NOT feel better than the razer keyboards. I try to reset it with FN+ESC and it's just locked up, and doesn't do anything. Asus has gone cheap and it's not worth your money.
