Sweet spot

After doing some tune with G-Helper and getting rid of all asus junk apps, it’s working very well I’m not sure about battery life as I use it plugged in at all times (like a desktop)

The reason I have given this 4 starts is because of battery life even with nvidia card shut off in the software, unit only last a couple of hours under basic web browsing. This wouldn't be so bad but it doesn't like to charge fast off usc-c plug and the Asus unit that comes with it is very heavy and large. I bought it to travel but honestly with poor battery and big charger it's not awesome for airplane and long flights. Also I bought it for DevOps, bummer that it's not touch screen. I think you get a lot for the money but it could be more interesting too, I don't lover the ROG armory crate.

Pretty good battery life. Business associate recommended the G16 gpu 5090, intel cpu, top end model. Did my research, went with G14 instead. We ran the same project files through our laptops, stitching and analysis. Less than a minute difference on completion time. I think I made the better buy.

I ran 2 oldschool RuneScape clients on it and the computer was running at about 95°C. I like the lugging on it and it works well when plugged in but I wouldn’t rely on it without a power source.

Great computer, watch for sales!

It just sucks that literally 2 weeks after I purchased it, it went on sale for like $500 cheaper. I wouldn't think these sorts of high priced items go on sale, should have listened to my wife and waited.

About $600 less than a Razer with the same graphics chip but an inferior HX365 CPU. Full aluminum chassis, VERY QUIET fans for the wattage. This is also the 12GB RTX5070Ti not the 8GB "regular" RTX5070 which makes all the difference. Fantastic OLED display with the right resolution for the size. And, BEST BUY actually has the best price anywhere for this model!

It’s super powerful for its size — handles gaming, programming, video editing, and everyday tasks with ease. It is quite powerful and yes the battery life isn't MacBook tier, but it's pretty good all thing considered. Only problem I have with it is that it started eating power like crazy even on the lightest games.
