I’ve been using this laptop for about a month and it’s been running great.
The screen looks amazing for games and editing.
Battery life is okay, but I wish it lasted a bit longer.
Really wish it came with 32GB RAM instead of 16, would’ve helped a lot with Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve. So far so good.

So I purchased this laptop just 1.5 months ago.
Overall from the get go, I really liked the laptop. But the constant crashes / restarts is annoying. I could and have gotten past the extremely hot chassis; I just bought a cooling pad. BUT, having a laptop that I'm constantly scared the CPU is going to burn up (constantly nearing 90-95 degrees centigrade - thats BAD) AND the thing constantly rebooting is insane.
It will mostly reboot on me if I wake it up and plug it in or vice versa. It's insane.
That's basically going to happen each time. Other times it randomly will crash. No blue screen, just crash a blackhole and then the ROG loading screen.
I've wiped the thing and reinstalled windows and the asus applications and still the same issues. I mean the Armoury Crate was an absolute pain to get to work after a fresh windows install. I had to uninstall it and go to Asus' website just to reinstall it. Finally it worked, but still there's crashes.
For an $1800 laptop, that's supposed to be premium, not very premium. Maybe add some better thermal padding and oh I don't know, maybe some firmware/BIOS that works along with your software that works properly with Windows. Cause my guess is that Armoury Crate is glitching with Windows because you all synch settings. That's just my guess.
Again, I shouldn't have to guess since I just bought it and it's a premium and premium priced laptop. These are the moments that I wish Apple was a leader in Gaming.

To resolve the system crash, reboot and BSOD, update Windows, drivers, BIOS and the Armoury Crate utility software if outdated. Updates for this laptop are posted at: https://rog.asus.com/laptops/rog-zephyrus/rog-zephyrus-g14-2025/helpdesk_download/. It is normal for laptops, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. To regulate heat generation, ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions to have efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, ensure no resource hungry applications, services and processes are running in the background, this will spike the temperature. You can check go to Task Manager to check how high system resource utilization is being used. The heat or temperature does decrease or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. Configure your system, game, video and performance mode settings inside the latest version of the Armoury Crate utility software posted at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/ , this will regulate thermal overdrive. Additionally, if you are playing these games online, ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will affect system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. Overheating, sadly

Gets pretty hot, really quickly when gaming. 16” model does not seem to have this issue. Love the look though.

pro: it small and light weight, very portable. Con: it doesn't run very smooth, o ised it primarily for trading stock. and it doesn't handle it very well.

Love this laptop great for productivity. Really worth the price but i snagged it on sale so it was even more worth it. Would highly recommend: super stylish and good look. Its literally the macbook of window laptops
