Awesome/Affordable Gaming Monitor!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased (3) of the Asus VG279QMY (the "Y" implies that it's sold at Best Buy but it's still the VG279QM) to replace my current work monitors (22") as they're too small to see what I'm working on (my current work involves CADD using MicroStation). Below are the pro(s) and con(s) of this particular monitor, Pro(s) 1) Price-matched @ $257.00/monitor (purchased on Sunday, 29 May 2022 - Memorial weekend) 2) Minimal backlight bleed (less than 5% of total screen) on all 3 monitors, however, 1 of 3 monitors had moderate IPS glow (bottom left corner and upper right corner) so I only kept 2 of 3 monitors 3) Swivel, Height, and Tilt Adjustment 4) Simple Design/OSD 5) 280Hz capability Con(s) 1) FHD (I would've preferred QHD) As you can see above, there are hardly any con(s) with this monitor and I'm really surprised myself for the price at the features you get and the quality of the monitor given it's IPS! If you're looking for an affordable gaming monitor with reasonable specs, I'd recommend giving this model a try.

Probably the best monitor out there

This monitor is true G-Sync and there is no screen tear whatsoever. Along with that, I consistently get high frames on full graphics settings and it performs flawlessly every time. The screen size is very good too, I highly recommend this monitor!

Best Picture For Price

I have a 2 asus monitor setup and the 1000000:1 ratio on the blacks are beautiful. I highly recommend it, although the built-in speakers are quite trash it’s a 280hz max performance monitor.
