It took a lot of trial and error to get it set up to screen all callers and just ring for numbers that I added to the directory. And I ended up switching to use the phone answering system, instead of my phone providers voicemail system. But now it only rings for those numbers I want to ring. But it still takes messages for other numbers that I need to hear from, even if I don’t want to answer right when they call. (Similar to iPhone feature to silence unknown callers) Highly recommend!

Would have given it 5 stars, but directions are a bit daunting, if not vague. The call blocking is available during or post phone call; and provides a caller log which can be used to review, delete or save numbers. I found the Menu method to access recent calls, directory, and other "links" bit confusing. Sound quality is adequate, and announcement voice which IDs the caller is clear, but very robotic in quality. I would recommend to a friend but with reservations....

I am inundated with unwanted telemarketing calls even though I’m regstered on donotcall.gov. I typically get 4-6 calls a day...even more some days. It gets very annoying. I never knew a phone like this existed. It does take a little time to set up your allowed calls but it’s worth it. You can block unwanted calls very easily. With this phone, if it’s an unknown phone number to my system, it rings once and then goes to a recording for the calier asking to leave their name and then I have the choice to answer or not. I am thrilled. Wish this worked on my cell phone!

I like that there’s enough phones for all rooms in the house and easy to use. I like the block feature the phone has.

The call blocking feature is great. You have different options. I set it up so that if the caller not in our contacts or accept list, they need to press a key and say their name. If the caller doesn't do this, the phone doesn't ring? The number off rings we get each day is probably 10% to 20% percent of what it was! The only moderate downside is that the speaker phone doesn't work as well as our old phones. But for the call blocking, I'd make that trade every time.

Phones are clear. Not too hard to set up. I like the big buttons.

I bought these for my parents since they still have a landline. They work great with good sound and good battery life

Lightweight phones, easy to set up and use. Has good range between first and second floor.

The phone works perfectly. The phone intercepts callers and makes them announce their name and purpose for the call before you can answer it. The phone announces who is on the line and gives you the option to answer, send to voice mail or block. This is a great feature so you never have to answer the phone without knowing you it is.

In its simplest use, this phone system is fine. It can be complicated to set up with its many functions -- most of which I don't need for basic phone answering, caller ID, screening, etc. The block function for nuisance calls is handy, but again to make full use of the call screening can be complicated for the nontechnical souls among us. Worth the investment for multiple phones and it has many good features, if you take the time to train yourself on them.

We're inundated with annoying robo calls on our hard line. We both have cells but keep the hard line with Majicjac for $35 per year. This phone system screens the calls without having to hear it ring. Instructions are given to the caller, who if they choose, can follow directions and get through to us. Finally, peace and quiet around the house. Works great.

Use on internet phone system, works great, never drops calls, plenty of range!
