This is not a normal webcam. This is for a business that uses conferencing and does not want to hire an outside IT firm to handle their networking/communication. If you want a home web cam please look elsewhere. But why is this so expensive? Its features that apply to a smaller start up business. It has a wide angle of view, can do up to a 10x zoom in 1080p, able to be mounted on walls and ceilings, has tilt, pan, and track controls, aka it can MOVE and FOCUS from a remote position, and its OPEN coded. You can use it with ZOOM, Microsoft, ect. Its has its own integrated server, so the camera itself can stream. Its also capable of being used with employees accounts for clocking in and out, and its remote control streaming functions allow it to serve as a back up remoting control security camera. For what it is, its pretty dang good. Ive worked with easier cameras that were also less expensive, but diddnt have as many niche features. If you want all the features go for it, but make sure you know what your buying. More so than normal.

There's no reason you should EVER spend $1,100 on a single webcam. Especially since it shoots in 1080p 60 FPS. Best Buy sells cameras BETTER than this for $70.

If you're spending this much money on a webcam for home use, then that's just sad.
