Good camera for backing out of my garage. Works well.

Great camera except it doesn't come with everything needed to install. Had to go to radio shack to get a video cable long enough for my extended cab Silverado. Keep this in mind when purchasing.

Camera is simple to install. Had it on for about a month now and still works. Hope it lasts a couple years. Being that it was pricey.

needed to replace/update the camera in out 99 Chevy express, Camera itself is pretty simple to install, however a bit more info on extra items would be nice. (i.e. only 70" of cable) not saying I think the item should come with 20 foot rolls but knowing what other options would/would not work would of save a lot of time. ended up using a 15 foot Sub-woofer RCA cable for the run Geek squad suggested) since best buy does not carry any single RCA video cables over 6'! they have all 3 in 20 foot sections but the cost and the extra wires not worth it. (actually in this van should of went 20 feet.) camera looks good, but after I washed the van the first time the next day i noticed a foggy view, looking at the camera looks like moisture got in some how? returned it and installed the replacement, not wanting to take a chance i ran a small bit of silicone around the rim prior to taking of the protected film covering. this would be great for a smaller application/vehicle, even the Geek squad guy was confused why I needed such a long cable. I was like just running the cable through the rear door into the harness area took almost all of the supplied cable. the van from front bumper to rear bumper is about 16 feet long, and to run the cable correctly, actually the only way the supplied cable was way to short.

My husband bought this for a Christmas present. I have been very happy once it was installed. We did need to buy a few extra wires because of the length of the truck but it blends in with the handle on the tailgate this way.
