I’ve been using the bObsweep Orb-i for a few weeks now, and overall it’s been a solid addition to my home. The suction power is impressive—it does a great job picking up dust, pet hair, and fine debris from both hard floors and carpets. The LiDAR mapping is accurate, and once the map is set, the cleaning paths are efficient and systematic rather than random. The self-emptying bin is a big plus and genuinely reduces maintenance. Not having to empty the dustbin frequently is very convenient, especially for busy weeks. Battery life has also been reliable, easily covering my space in one run. That said, the app experience could be smoother. Occasionally it feels a bit slow or less intuitive than expected, and setting up certain features took some trial and error. It’s not a deal-breaker, but there’s room for improvement on the software side. Overall, this is a powerful and dependable robot vacuum with excellent cleaning performance and useful automation features. With a more refined app experience, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Orb-i is great, i have him scheduled to go every afternoon for a general clean of the floors, and rhen can do spot clean as needed really saves me time from having to sweep every day, especially for high traffic areas.

Great machine! Very easy to get started and the mapping was very good. I am using it on our top floor and was worried about the stairs but found Orb-i knew exactly what it was doing. It cleans the floor very well and rugs (if taped down) don’t cause any issues. The great price was an added bonus!

This works well. The dog hair is a challenge to keep it from clogging. I limit the rooms it cleans before it empties. This helps. It navigates well, does not get stuck easily. It’s still only a few weeks old, but I am very happy with its performance so far.

I’ve had this vacuum for about a month and it seems to work pretty well for the $140-$150 price point, noise level is low to moderate. However, it will wake you up if you try to run it at night as it bangs into everything. i’m hoping it functions long-term as it reduces the amount of daily vacuuming we have to do in our home

I am truly impressed with the Orb-i vacuum. It is unlike the other robotic vacuum I had which knocked all over my furniture, walls and doors. Orb-i knows where the obstacles are and stops before knocking them. Furthermore, it did a better job in sweeping coverage with its surveyed floorplan.

I lucked out getting this on super sale and it’s worth every penny in it’s original cost! Very quiet, gets the corners very well, smart enough to not get stuck. Would 100% purchase again.

This little but mighty vacuum has three different settings for the strength. It keeps my house tidy! This is one of my best purchases by far

As our first robotic vacuum, I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but overall it's been a good experience. The setup was straight forward and the app is easy to use, though not always as flexible as I'd like. We have 3 cats in the house, so fur is definitely a noteworthy concern. I initially tried having the bot empty every other time and be at low suction to keep the sound down. It needs emptying every time, and turning up the suction didn't hurt the nose levels too much. Going back and forth from rugs to hardwood can leave bits at the transition just because of how the sweeper is aligned. Overall satisfied for a first time

The small dice when moves on its own power from one side to other side-of my room -I like it. Some technical glitchs (such as roller, sensor indector problems) are not really problem --it overcomes by itself. I have been using for two weeks, I think I like it.

The robot does well for the price. I have a long haired dog who sheds greatly every day and i have to run this atleast two or three times a day to keep up but i don’t mind. It’s great to have alot of storage because i wont need to change it for quite a while.

This is our second robotic vacuum and we LOVE him!!! The app is so easy to use and he does a fantatic job. He is very quiet and different levels of “clean” that he can accomplish. There’s nothing bad I can say about it! Definitely worth the purchase!

This is plug-and-play. I had no issues setting it up, does a great job cleaning and not loud when in use.

Bob is asleep at the moment. I hate to wake him and ask his permission to say how impressed we have been with his work. He worked right out of the box. We watched him vacuum the carpet and ceramic tile floor on our second floor. It was amazing to see him first do a rough center job and then go back for the edge detail. The only problem we have is inability to recognize the step down to the first floor and reverse. So I have placed a barrier at that location. The manual does not explain how to train Bob without the app. We don't like putting information accessible to the internet so we simple press "GO" and watch him take off and return.

Bobsweep is the best. Love it. I purchased this thinking, “ well I hope this works.” And it does, and I am thrilled. Great suction. Easy to use. Small footprint, too. I’m so happy I purchased this.

Super efficient and quiet. Love the automatic empty! Floors are definitely cleaner and less work for me!

bob is so great! i never vacuum which just makes my entire apartment look like a dumpster, but i have bob set on a schedule to run weekly, so i have to at least do a quick sweep of the hair on the floor so that bob can do the lion's share of work and prevent my apartment from becoming an environmental hazard.

Does a good job knocking down the amount of pet hair we have, but it’s not perfect by any means. Had an issue from the start with the brush falling off, but called the company and they said to press down harder to lock in the brush. Haven’t had a problem with them falling off since. It also fills up, but doesn’t self empty perfectly. Gets clogged and the brushes need to be cleaned almost every time. Great product at the discounted rate, but would never spend more than $200 on this

The bObsweep Orb-i has some solid strengths, especially for the price. Battery life is decent and the suction power on high is more than enough for most messes. Its pathfinding and LiDAR-based mapping are seriously impressive and navigate complex layouts with ease. That said, it has pretty bad edge detection; mine has yeeted itself down the stairs more than once. If you have pets, be ready for frequent clogs, even with daily runs.

I got this vacuum because I already have 2 roombas and wanted to try another brand. At first it was great, I didn’t have too many complaints. I put it on a schedule and it did its thing. Mapped out the area better than either roomba thanks to the lidar and bumps into things far less. That’s about all the praise I can give it now. The app feels like something a middle schooler put together 5 minutes before their test. Does it work? Ya kinda. Maps are there up until they aren’t. They just seem to get overwritten/corrupted any time the robot runs into a problem….. and it runs into a lot of problems and most of the time it’s some generic error that it can’t even tell you what’s wrong, you have to go find it to see what it is. And as soon as you fix it and send it to charge, well there goes your saved map 95% of the time. The on board dust bin is also really small and so far I have not seen it go empty itself in the middle of a run, it just keeps going while not actually picking anything up. The single roller is always clogged with something, be it hair or anything slightly too large for it to grab (this is mostly our fault, kids don’t like to pick up stuff on the ground) and if it isn’t noticed before it goes on its run then it’s a tangled mess. The battery now seems to not be able to fully charge even though it’s had very light use compared to my other vacuums. It’s usually anywhere between 70-93% when I look at it on the app. Overall if you have a small area that is already usually mostly clean, then this might work just fine for you. Spend a little more and get a better brand.
