I have been using color printers for almost thirty years and they are great for pictures or printing where you have a subject in color. I do mostly black on white printing, manuals and reports and this laser printer is faster, cleaner and cost less per page than any color printer I have ever owned.

Bought this to replace a 4 year old Brother Laser MFC, knowing that this doesn't have fax or scan capability. The toner is cheaper than what was used by the last one, so that came into play. The first toner cartridge that came with the unit did not hold up long, but the printer works great.

Best printer . Easy to learn setup , wireless printing

Like many, we don't print very much but have always wished for double sided printing when we do. Our single-sided Brother wireless printer that we got about 8 years is now finally starting to die. So I purchased this and am delighted with noticeable improvement in print quality, slightly faster print speed and finally, being able to print double sided.

I really like this printer. I wasnt sure if I would but after using it a bit, I really like it. It prints fast and the depth of the black color is good. The wifi set up instructions included are not explanatory as others have said. I watched an Youtube video made by Brother and followed the directions it gave and set it right up. I have not had any problems with wifi connection at all to printer.

I had an earlier model like this and it was a work horse till it decided to implode. This new model is very similar but I wish the toner cartridges didn't always change! I had just bought a five pack weeks before it quit. So far so good, I hope this one lasts as long as the last one, that will make me happy! Very easy to fire up and get it working.
