This printer is idea for a home network, all of us can print from anywhere is the house. The drawback for me is it will go to a deep sleep and I have to perform the on/off reset. I am sure there is a way to fix that but I have not researched it.

This printer was a great buy. I mainly purchased it for my 2 daughters to print High School and College written projects. It has proven to be easy to setup for their MACBook Pros and my wife's Windows laptop. So far so good with the way this printer works.

This printer is perfect. Easy to set up and prints fast. Toner change was easy too. Connected with no problems. I wish I bought one of these years ago. Our color inkjet is now pretty much unused. We've found that 99% of the time, a black and white print will do so this printer is perfect.

Bought this for a friend so he could print postal labels at very low cost, rather than buying color inkjet cartridges (which was very expensive and only gave him 500 prints at black and white) This printer allows him to print his average amount of 500-600 labels a month, without additional costs. He loves it!

This was easy to set up! Thank the printer gods for this! I print everything in black so no worries now for any other color..which was a pain and I didn't need colors at all which made this purchase A+

Have had many different printers, none lasted like my Brothers brand. I have a Brothers color printer and the Brother black and white laser. Color printer is 5 years old, absolutely no problems, works like a charm. Had the laser for 3 years, worked perfect but when I ran out of toner decided to get new one (same basic model ) because new model was on sale for just a little more than buying just the toner. Now my daughter is using the older one! Super, super easy to install on wifi, both the color and the laser. Automatically prints from iPad, etc, without having to do anything! Will definitely stay with Brother products.

I love this Brother printer! It is a real workhorse. Print quality is excellent. I wore out my other one which lasted several years. I was pleasantly surprised to find this one does double-sided without my having to reinsert the paper!

This printer works really good, fast and quiet! Very good quality and will save you money down the road by not having to replace cartridges as often as with inkjet printers. Very satisfied!

On screen menus could be better for the more tech-savy. It actually makes more complex controls more difficult when you make something too user friendly-without an easily accessible option for more network controls. But it is a home, rather than office, oriented printer, so that's a bit to be expected. It is an excellent printer for the price.

I was looking for a printer that used a toner. This printer does the job. It only prints in black and white, but that is all I needed. It prints quickly. My only complaint would be that the wifi works sporadically at best, so you can't depend on wireless printing.

Purchased this printer to print faster and to be more efficient with ink. I liked the fact that printer has wifi capabilities, so I hooked it up to my smartphones, laptop and home computer. Printer printed well without hesitation, but recently printer lost connectivity to devices. Printer was still connected to wifi (IP address). Printer is not user friendly to trouble shoot with small display. I will connect it by using the wire it came with and hopefully in the near future newer printers will have better screen and user interface to trouble shoot. Good for office, but not for wireless home network.

Printer has a small footprint and was easy to setup. I love the fact that it has both wi-fi, network connection, and duplexing ability. I can print to it from any laptop in the house!
