I've only had the printer for couple months with no problems. I have had several brother printers in the past, the are reliable as a Lexus if it was car.

Great printer. Does all the basic things i need to do. Black and white printing only, but prints very fast and the ink is pretty affordable when you match the amazon price.

The Brother @laser printer was easy to set up as a wireless printer for all of our mobile devices. No more going to the lap top to print messages, scans or attachments. High quality printing, long lasting laser cartridge. Good value. I will buy another for my office. I plugged it into my home network so I can print from any device connected to our home WiFi network. I am impressed with the printer.

Solid printer that replaced a piece of junk that we had to constantly struggle with to print anything. This printer delivers clear text on the first try.

This is exactly what I needed. As an English major I do a lot of printing. I don't need anything fancy. I just need it to work well. This does the trick.

This printer replaced my other brother printer... This one is a breeze to setup Wireless, easy to send documents from my phone to... Can't find anything wrong thus far.

I know it can function totally wirelessly, but I had an extra Ethernet port so I plugged it in. This way I get all the pluses Of wireless printing and also of wired printing when devices on the wired network need to print. For me setup was a snap I just plugged in the cable and I was off to the print races! The quality is great, and it is so much smaller than the one it replaces!

Basic black and white laser printer. Bought it cause I needed one that was wireless and it serves my needs. Not a lot of heavy printing being done, no issues with it yet, was a Xmas gift for my wife.

Printer has a very easy setup process. After unboxing, install toner,paper, and downloaded app, in 15 minutes I was printing.

This is my 3rd Brother printer. The other 2 each died of old age around 8 years of heavy use. It prints fast and in good quality. Easy wireless set up. No more cables.

I have a older Kodak inkjet. The cost of the ink got to be too much for the limited use. I only used it one or two times a year and had to buy new ink each time. When faced with having to buy new ink this year I decided to just price a new printer. Was surprised at the low price for laser printers. I looked at an HP due to having a LaserJet 4L a long time ago and loved it. During my research I talked to a friend and he recommended looking at the Brother printers. I was really amazed at the price point. Read the reviews and only negative was setting up on the wireless network with the limited instructions. I asked the Best Buy Sales Associate which he recommended between the HP and Brother, he recommended the Brother unless I was planning on doing a lot of volume. Asked about setup and he felt it was not bad just had to have a little computer knowledge. So I got this Brother unit. Have to admit setup was difficult. I was trying to connect to a wireless network I had setup that did not have an internet connection. I could not get the printer to install wirelessly, I had to use a network cable between the printer and the router, the it installed fairly easily. I completed my immediate task and was very pleased with the speed and print quality. A few weeks later I connected my network to the internet, then tried the wireless install again, it worked as instructed!!! For home limited use this is a home run. Brother only sends limited instructions, but they are enough. The secret is to have internet access on you network. I would rate it a 5, but the instructions supplied or online did not say anything about needing internet access.

Wireless, relatively easy to set up and prints well - needed for my home office needs. Value for money.

Had an Epson before and the ink was always drying out and it cost as much to buy new ink as it did to buy the Brother printer. The Brother printer is fast and printing is good

I was looking for a great laser printer with high quality performance. Finally, I got one of the best from best buy.

This printer is exellent for general printing when you dont need color. Printa fast and doublesided. We call it our workhorse printer. It fast and ink last for a long time. The wifi capability makes it a great feature. I can use my mobile, tablet and laptops to print from anywhere. Downside it the sleepmode I have to turn off and on before I can use and of my mobile devices
