He's had his old Brother laser printer for years, so I decided to buy him a new one with wireless capabilities when I bought him a new laptop. So far everything is working well. Setup and installation was a breeze. Will update this review if anything changes.

I love this printer. It is fast, relatively quiet once it has warmed up, and the output looks great, with one exception. As others have noted, large grey areas in pictures are not evenly printed and therefore do not come out all that well.

Needed a new printer and didn't want to spend a lot. Very happy with the printer and the quality of printing that it does. Doesn't take up much room on my shelf. So for the money you can't bet the quality .

Works great but it draws a lot of power after coming awake. If printer is in deep sleep mode then my iDevices will not see it. You can take printer out of deep sleep. Other than that minor thing it works perfectly

Good printer for a good price to save money on those expensive ink catridges

Ive always been a Brother printer fan. They are the most reliable, worry free printers out there in my opinion. Easy set up, works wirelessly with no issues with my phone, ipad and imac. Great product.

It print in double side, not manually insert paper.

For a black and white printer this printer is great. It is small so it does not take a lot of space. The cartridge is the big type,so you don't have to change it often. Print quality is very good.

This printer is fast and easy to use. I bought it for use with apples airprint and it works great. It is black and white but I was only using it for printing documents so it was the perfect printer.

After many attempts at printer ownership, I've finally come across one that has lasted. I continually purchased cannon printers that would stop feeding, and Hewlett-Packer printers in which the printheads would break. This printer prints relatively well after some changes in the settings to make the text darker, and in turn less toner efficient. I've gone through about 500 sheets of paper without having to replace the starter cartridge which is a good sign. Replacement ink is relatively cheap given how many prints you get per cartridge. This printer does not print color, however most people don't really need color. Cloud set-up needs some work. It is a pretty poor implementation and is rather time consuming, however its a one and done deal.
