Wireless was fast and easy to set up (on a mac) and printing is super fast, if you are looking for just a black/white printer.

I bought this printer because I was tired of paying for ink for my inkjet printer. It's great that I can now go through two reams of paper before I have to replace the toner.

Bought this to use with my iPhone's and iMac. Works really well. Was easy to set up and is very gentle on ink. Is a bit on the slow side but that's ok cause it seems to be a big ink saver. Print quality is excellent as well!

This is my first Brother printer. I've being using HP and Samsung printers and decided to try this Brother since it had good reviews and easy connectivity to a smartphone and tablet. Didn't disappoint. Easy setup and had everything up and running in minutes. Haven't used up the starter toner but I'll probably go with the generic extended refill when the time comes. Hope this printer lasts as long as my Samsung Ml2010 and Hp p1102w which are still going strong but doesn't connect wirelessly to iPhone.

This printer is really efficient and works wonderfully. The one issue has been setting up the wireless network. I believe it has been difficult due to using a Mac but I'm still not sure. When it's plugged in (instead of wireless) it works in an awesome manner.

Good printer but goes to sleep in less than 5 mins of inactivity. You got to walk all the way to the printer and power it on again. Set up is cumbersome.

This is a laser printer. I heard laser printer overall is more cost effective. This is my first laser printer purchase, hope it will meet my expectation. I won't recommend this product as of now yet.

I bought this to print some envelopes that would get smeared using an inkjet.
It worked well, although since it is entry level be careful and check the minimum size the tray will handle (I think it is 3x5). It doesn't have a second tray for smaller size paper.

Printer quality is great! When it's on WiFi it will print... After it goes on idle, you can't find it via wifi again......If you're not looking for a central wifi printer, this is a printer awesome printer

I have been using brother printers for years. As a teacher I do a lot of printing from home and this unit is perfect. I really like the ability to print double sided.

We've got several of these printers in individual offices at all of our company facilities, and have yet to hear any complaints. If you need high volume printing, and nothing else, you can't go wrong with this model.

If you care about speed and print quality mainly, this is a low cost, effective printer choice. As a network printer, wired to the router works OK, wireless is a little more flaky. After adjusting the sleep settings networking worked pretty much as it should, but it seems like it's a lot more difficult than it needs to be. The other thing I had to figure out when I was printing net stamps or on to any type of pre-printed form is that the form has to go in the printer tray face down with the top of the form towards the front of the printer.

We got this printer to replace a Kodak (which was an ink hog.) So far, we're loving this! It doesn't print in color- which is great, because we didn't need that. All in all, she's a decent printer. No issues at all.
