If your looking for an affordable printer that you can use periodically without worrying about the ink drying up then this is the perfect.

I needed an inexpensive printer to use very occasionally in my work shop to print out shipping labels and other documents. I knew that the printer would be so seldom used that the ink would be probably be dried each time I tried to use it if I installed an inkjet printer. This laser printer was inexpensive, prints well, and has not given me any problems so far.

I own an eye doctor's office with busy staff and lots of printing needs. I now have 4 Brother wireless laser printers on our network. They work well, very fast print speeds. I would recommend to anyone in need of a monochrome office printer for multiple users.

If you are looking for a black ink only, no frills laser printer, check out this printer. A bit noisy when printing. Good quality print and easy setup.

This is really easy to setup. Ethernet port in the back or use it wirelessly. I connect this directly to my router and I can print from any device connect to the same home network. Works flawlessly. After 2 years I finally have to replace the toner (~$10) after regular use. So that's not bad at all. I expect to keep this around for many years.

This model replaced by 11 year old Brother printer. It still worked and gave it to a college student. This printer is the easiest printer I have ever set up. I had to only choose choose the printer off the network. My Apple and Android phones , iPads print directly to it via the network, simply download the Brother apps and choose the printer.

The printer works very well and was easy to set up except when it came to connecting to the internet. It does not print properly when using Google Chrome so I had to download Firefox.

I wanted a black and white laser printer where I didn't have to deal with color ink and black ink changes and this serves my purpose.

I needed a new laser printer for personal use. I had an HP 1300 that I got around 2003 and it stopped working and HP stopped support. I was going to fix it but the parts cost me more than this printer! Not only is it faster, but the cartridges are about half the price of the HP The quality is excellent and the software seems stable. I highly recommend this printer.

Great value for the price and very reliable. Networking is easy of use.

The printer seems to work okay but it is a little noisy and sounds 'cheap'. I bought this to replace a Samsung printer and the Samsung was quieter and sounded more refined. This is the first Brother printer I've owned. Setup was a breeze including wired network setup. Windows update had the driver. Print quality seems good.

I changed this printer for the MFC-J4620DW because I needed a color printer

Generally, I have liked Brother laser printers. But could not quite tell if this one comes with a standard toner cartridge, or a smaller "starter cartridge".....
