The photo quality is so so

The color is very flat compare to Canon printer I've had owned. In the setting, I can't even choose photo glossy paper printing, all they have is other paper option. The reason I bought this because I saw other reviewer said this printer save ink, I didn't print a whole lot so will see how it works.
