Good quality but toner runs out too fast

Hopefully this one lasts longer. I definitely recommend the Best Buy replacement warranty, I have had to HP printers and a Brother replaced.

Works beautifully with Linux and FreeBSD

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a multifunction color laser and didn't want to buy an HP, as their reputation for locking out 3rd party toners has gotten so bad. I needed something to work with FreeBSD and LInux, and this works well with both. Setting up on FreeBSD, Linuxmint, and Fedora worked out of the box. With RockyLinux-8.x, I did have to download the drivers from Brother, but after installing the drivers, everything was fine. I'd recommend this to anyone running a LInux or FreeBSD workstation who needs a multifunction. I don't use the fax, but didn't see another printer as good that just had print, copy, and scan.

All the printers I purchased are still working! I gifted two of my printers to family and they are still being used today. I needed a color printer, this printer is awesome!!!

The printer you’re looking for

I have a Mac, and finding a printer that just works, and works well for a Mac has always felt like a challenge. This one exceeds my expectations. It does everything. Wireless printing (without any weirdness), wireless scanning, multiple page scanning, front and back scanning. It works from my iPhone too.

Prior to the Brother printer, I've purchase an HP and EPSON and noticed how slow the printing was and even to set it up wireless. Highly recommend the Brother Printer.
