The old ink jet printer died for a second time for the same reason, so I was not going back with that brand or type again. This is a laser printer and so far it has been very good with copying, scanning, and printing documents. I have not tried a picture yet, but will in the near future. Print quality is very good and it does not smudge like an ink jet. Only negative so far is that the printer popped up an error message. I was able to clear it by turning off the printer and allowing it to reset.

I've had a monotone Canon laser printer before but since color laser printer prices have dropped so much lately I went ahead a purchase this one. This printer does what I needed for occasional printing at home (this is where a laser printer shines because the ink won't dry out after a month of non-use). Black text is sharp and color reproduction is pretty good. Scanning is pretty good, however, I have yet figured out how to configure the email function. Overall, excellent printer for home use.

Bought this for my home office and so far so good. Ease to use and set up. Quality of print is pretty good as well.

I purchased this printer because my Epson printer was nothing but problems. It is fast and the quality of the print is better than the ink jet. I use this for my business and print mostly invoices and envelopes. It took a while to figure out how to print envelopes but I got it. The instructions were bad. I had my son help me with the installation. I have had it for about a month and everything is smooth sailing. I will never buy an Epson printer again.

This printer was easy to set up and prints decently fast only complaint is the paper tray is a little small.
