I wasn't sure if the upgrade from my 50D was worth the investment but it SO was!!! This camera is amazing, and I feel like it has taken me to the next level professionally.

This camera is fantastic. I got it mainly for filming video, which it is great at even in low light situations, but it obviously takes beautiful photos. Very easy to use, too.

Bought as an upgrade from the 5D Mark Ii. I wanted better autofocus, more fps. And better light sensitivity. The 5D Mark Iii surpassed my expectations! I couldn"t be happier.

I upgraded from a 6D to this and the difference in the image quality was stunning. Also bought a Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8L II USM Standard Zoom Lens to go with the camera.

I upgraded from the Canon 7D and all I can say is WOW! what an improvement!!! The fast focus is amazing and the low light performance is unbelievable. This is a solid build with a great feel. I've been shooting Canon digital since the Rebel XT and I've loved them all, but this full frame upgrade was the best decision I've made.

This camera is great! Extremely easy to use. Photo detail are insane..like no other camera I have ever used before! I photograph animals...scales of reptiles...eyes of lizards..best shots I have ever taken!

I recently purchased my 5D Mark III, to photograph high school football. Because the lighting at each stadium was so different, I needed a camera that could handle high ISO's. After the first game, I couldn't believe the difference from my 7D. With the 5D Mark III, the clarity at 12,800 ISO was outstanding. The AF system is a little more complex than my 7D, but with a little more time and reading, it will definitely work to my advantage. I love my 5D Mark III.

My wife and I are photographers and have been shooting canon cameras for years. We have had Canon 5d mk2's for a long time now and recently made the change to mk3's let me tell you the difference is substantial! The low light capabilities on it are extremely improved as well as the autofocus. Its hard to believe we weren't using this camera before. Trust me, you'll love it.

This camera has replaced my Canon 5D Mark II. It is such an improvement! Fantastic focusing the the movie option is much easier to use. Almost perfection.

I've ran a photography studio for 3 years and needed an update from my 7d. This is the best choice. Worth the $$!

The 5D Mark iii has not let me down in the short time I've owned it. I've been able to capture gorgeous images in extremely low light (birth photography) for my clients. I can't wait to continue working with this camera to achieve all it can do! The jump from a crop sensor to this beauty was well worth the price tag!

I had reservations of buying this camera. I am classically a Nikon shooter and finally decided to make the switch once the latest firmware update was released. After this update Nikon just did not have a single advantage in the video range that made it worth sticking with. I have zero regrets. This truly is a fantastic camera. From the video quality to the inclusion of headphone monitoring, it does everything i need it to do for a run and gun rig. Yes the Audio pre-amps hiss and there is still a bit of rolling shutter, but for a run and gun rig this size the quality is sufficient. Also it's one of the best stills cameras that's ever been made so there's that too.

This is the gift for my father's retirement. He likes it and takes great pictures for all family members to enjoy them.
