As a beginner this camera has lots of options for you to get started. Don't feel overwhelmed just get through the manual a little at a time, get out on the Internet and read, and of course grab your camera and get out there and take lots of pictures .

I use this camera primarily for photography, and my wife uses it for her YouTube channel. Coming from Nikon D3200, the image and video quality on the 80D are absolutely stunning. Autofocus and interface are a big upgrade from my old Nikon.

I love being able to shoot photos and 4K videos with the same camera. I purchased a 128 GB and a 256 GB San Disk card and can record hours of videos and thousands of photos--enough to capture 3 to 4 weeks of vacation, with space to spare. My favorite feature is that I can set it to "No Flash," and can shoot photos and videos in low light situations and in museums where flash is not permitted, and have the photos turn out perfect. Another great feature is that when the microphone is pointed to the scene I am shooting, it picks up the sounds in front of me beautifully, but if I want to comment on what I am shooting, I can point the microphone towards me. This is the best camera I have ever owned, and I have 2 other Canon digital cameras, pus 3 other high end 35 millimeter film cameras.

I love this camera kit! I just started my YouTube and this kit is excellent. The camera quality is amazing and the microphone makes the sound quality great. The memory card holds a lot too! This is a great deal overall 100% recommend it.

This is a great upgrade for those looking to take the next step from a beginner dslr. A ton of great features and HD video! The added microphone and auto zoom can be controlled from your phone or laptop which is a great option.

Camera delivers a quality performance. Photos are crisp and clear with many easy settings to choose from; video images are also surprisingly good (I never relied on a DSL before for video). Love this camera!

Bought for my 17 yo daughter for her BD. I have much experience and she has none. We both love it. It's easy to learn, easy to use, great options, exceptional pictures.....highly recommend

Canon 80D is a very good camera for photography as well as video, the color and quality is excellent. Most important is that the service provide by Best Buy is excellent and one can trust completely.
