Bought this camera for my wife and she loved using it on our trip to the Caribbean. The white color is really unique and you will get a lot of compliments on this compact DSLR. Full of features in an easy to use and portable unit, this is a great camera and excellent value.

Our fifth Canon and each better than the last. Optics and clarity unparalelled. Lightest most compact of the SLR's we have had and the best one yet. Good price and we got it on sale to even top that. Can shoot full auto or self set for specialty both great imaging. It shoot just as wll in the jungle as the Caribbean or mountain snow. My wife likes the camera body size for smaller hands.

I bought this camera after doing lots and lots of research on DSLR. This is a must have for anyone transitioning or starting on DSLR. The picture quality is AMAZING and I recently used it on my vacation and it was so easy to carry ALL DAY LONG, and it was VERY USER FRIENDLY.

I have been a Canon camera user back to the days when I purchased a used Canon AE1 Program 35 mm at a pawn shop more than 30 years ago. I like the fact that the foundational functions of the cameras have remained the same over the years while product improvements have been incorporated. This camera can be simple to use for the beginner, but has the features an expert can appreciate and use. It is not a "professional" camera, but most of us could not run one of those, and the picture quality and the flexibility of the camera is very good. It is much lighter than many previous SLR versions which makes a difference on a long day of toting around a camera while on vacation. Got it on sale, and it is a good value.

I am very impressed with my choice of upgrade. I love that all my old lenses fit. I love having video and still functions in the same camera. the upgrade from 8 megapixels to 18 is amazing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the battery seems to drain much faster than my older camera. I think the video really drains it. Other than battery life it is wonderful.

I have only had the camera few weeks, but it has worked great right out of the box. Very easy to setup and start taking great pictures. The camera is also compact compared to the other models, which is nice when you have it around your neck all day. This is my 3rd Canon camera and it has lived up to my expectations.

This camera is pretty easy to use. I am a novice so I have a lot to learn. I am excited about using as many of the features and I think that this is a good camera to start my photography adventure!

This is my first dslr but I'm already in love! It's light weight and compact. I love all of the functions it has. It's helped me create some beautiful pictures. I would absolutely recommend this camera to someone looking for a Canon

For a large family trip we bought the camera. This was one model behind the latest version, but it was still the most popular selling camera even though the newer model had been out for sometime. We are still learning all of the features, but the quality of pictures & ease of use is wonderful

I can't say that I love this camera since I rarely get to use it because my wife is in love with it! We have always bought Canon cameras, but this is our first SLR. Great camera and software.

Overall this is a fantastic camera with a great feature set. Full control over a variety of amateur and "pro" features. My experience to date has had me doing a little more post processing than I would like to due primarily to Canon's use of low pass filter technology which tends to reduce image sharpness somewhat (or at least I've come to find that it does). While you won't be disappointed in this camera, do a little research on Canon's vs Nikon's use of "low pass" before stepping up to it. Overall, I'm very pleased after 3 weeks of ownership.

I've been using this camera for two months. User friendly and takes great photos. I like the four f.p.s. as I shoot fast moving objects.

A lot of my friends are photographers and approved of my choice. This a great entry level DSLR and takes great shots. I would recommend this camera to anyone.. can't beat the price.

User friendly. A camera that Takes great pictures.

I bought this camera sort of on a whim and at the recommendation of the Best Buy employee. It was perfect in every way for what I was looking for. I have children and frequently take pictures of them and their activities. The camer takes amazing pictures and is lightweight enough to carry day to day. I HIGHLY reccomend this camera to anyone who is a beginner, or just wants an easy DSLR to use on day to day activities.
