I was looking for a good quality printer. One I didn’t have to spend that much money for. Once purchased, it arrived very quickly. It was very easy to set up. Great quality prints and copies. Easy to connect to WiFi. Just the right size. Fits perfectly on my work desk. Everyone in the house can easily connect to the cannon printer. It was a great buy. I am really pleased with this purchase.

I’ve only used it for a few simple print jobs so far, but it was easy enough to set up and things printed from mobile in the expected format. It feels like it runs slow when receiving print jobs and starting up, but I’ve never had a printer that didn’t feel slow doing that, so it’s probably average. Which makes it a good deal for the price, especially since it came with some ink included. It’s a lot lighter than expected, which is convenient. I do wish it came with a USB cable to simplify connections further (I inevitably run into problems with wireless devices which would not be problems if I could just plug in) and the computer set up looked more complicated than mobile, I haven’t gotten around to that yet. It came with a CD to install it, and my computer doesn’t have a disc drive so I’ll have to track down the software online.

Great No Frills Printer - Canon Dependability

I had a Canon Pixma 2200 for almost 5 years. The rollers finally wore out. I have a small home business & print a lot of labels, packing slips, etc. For now, I don't need laser. Didn't want ADF or fax. No bells or whistles, just reliable. I also didn't want big. This printer sits neatly on my desk & doesn't take up a lot of space. It's very familiar, easy to use, & is the exact same printer but is Wi-Fi now which 2200 was not. It even takes the same ink cartridges & came w/1 color & 1 black. Did not come with USB but they are easy to find (I had one). Best Buy shipping was fast - arrived within 2 days to my doorstep. Unpack, install software, hook up, turn on, align cartridges, & away we go. I really like Canon printers & am very happy with this purchase. So glad that Best Buy had it in stock at an affordable price with free ship. Thanks!

Great for use at home. I mainly use it with my laptop, I print also directly from my cell-phone. Set-up was really easy. Print quality is really good. After scanning, the document is directly saved on my laptop. Very compact and no USB cables to worry about.

This is a great printer for the small jobs I need it for. Easy to set up and use and the price is about a fourth of the last printer I bought which had too many bells and whistles, continually acted up, went through ink too fast and stopped working entirely after 3 years. So far I am entirely satisfied with this printer.

I needed a replacement printer to replace my old Canon 620. This printer is very reasonably priced. The only thing I was surprised to find once I set it up is that the paper is exposed. Actually that is not a bad thing because you can see at a glance if it has enough paper in it. Just two ink cartridges so I suspect one of the colors will run out before it is completely empty. Easy set up and an 'Air' printer so works with my iPad and iPhone.

This printer is almost exactly what I needed for my office. I didn't want to go through the hassle of using the big printer downstairs in our office building so I got this printer to put in my office. It prints great and it's not too slow. I can scan things to make copies and it has made my life a little easier. It's a bit loud, but that's ok. The only thing I haven't figured out (because I haven't even tried) is scanning a document to save to my computer. I don't know if it will do it, but again, I haven't really tried. I would recommend this printer, based on price and what it's capable of doing, for anyone not needing huge printing jobs done. Also, I haven't purchased ink for this yet, so I'm not sure if that would change my rating.

For the most part, the set up of this printer was easy and the instructions were extremely helpful. However, when it came to connecting the printer to a wifi and making the wireless connection, I did have to look up a YouTube video because the instructions provided were not great. Once that was settled, the printer was perfect for what I needed which was to scan and print documents.

Loud and clunky but does it's job

This is an okay printer. Be warned, it doesn't ship with a cable to plug into your computer. If you don't want to install it wireless, you'll have to get your own cable. It prints well, so it does it's job. It's loud though... I don't know if it's the printer trying to find paper, but you can hear it running loudly after you first turn it on. It's awkwardly loud for a printer, I'm not sure how else to describe it. The drivers we needed, to get the scanner to work, were difficult to find on the website. It took some extra effort to get that part of the printer to function like it was supposed to, and that was with my husband, and myself, both being pretty familiar with computers and installing devices. Someone less technologically savvy might have a harder time getting this device set up. This printer isn't as user friendly as it could be, when it comes to dealing with issues. There are relatively fewer buttons to do things, and it makes troubleshooting problems difficult. While it looks simple to use, it isn't as simple when you need to try and address an issue. That being said, I like the fact that it has a scanner, you feed paper in through the front (and not the top), and the color is fun and different. For no more than I purchased it for, so far it's a decent little printer.

Started Out Rough & Just Got Worse By The Day

I returned in the box of the different printer I bought to replace it. This was my first Canon, but it was cheap, a decent size, so I figured why not give it a go. The first thing I noticed when you receive this printer is not only is it cheap, it feels cheap. I was ok with that, until I started using it. Set-Up: It required several hours for me to figure this out. At one point, I called the help number at Canon on a Sunday. An automated number requested around 10-15 minutes of details (serial #, etc.) only to then tell me that customer service wasn't available on Sunday. I eventually figured it out, but it was a pain, and I was frusterated the automated system made me go through all those details, just to say we're closed. Software: It's awful and I mean awful given printer companies have normally terrible interfaces and this was bad even by those standards. Printing: Decent job printing...when it works. Sometimes it was perfect, other times I had to make multiple attempts. I could never get it to print from my iPhone. It also would never print a photo. After the debacle, I gave up and sent it back. Quirks: It would randomly turn off. I wondered if this was a power-saving feature, but it was a pain. I would go to print something, only to find out it was off.

This inkjet printer has been great and saves a lot of space. It was easy to set up and I truly enjoy the wireless option. I even taught my husband how to print from his mobile phone. We have been using a rather old version printer by Brothers which took up a lot of space.

I bought this budget printer for basic printing once in a while. I use it to print a few things then I pack it back in it's original box until I need it again. That's how little I ise this. I never have a problem. And I think I have had it well over a year and still using the original ink.

This little printer is quite the bargain. Less than $70 and it copies, scans, and prints documents and quality photographs. Prints on both sides with automatic duplexing.. saves paper. Control software and drivers are a breeze to install. Wireless operation in several protocols including AirPrint and Windows. I'm running Windows 11 and it works great. My wife prints from her iPhone and she loves it. It comes with one color and one black cartridge included. On the downside, replacement cartridges are a little pricey. So I bought a couple of rebuilt cartridges, for standby, and a refill kit... problem solved. There is no automatic document feeder for scanning or copying, but who could expect that for $70? All in all, one sweet little machine.

I love the color of this printer and it printed really clear. My only critique is that I didn't realize it didn't have fax or scan function, which was my fault for not reading it clearly. I also had some trouble setting it up. But overall, it was a great printer!

Received it the other day. Set up took about 20 minutes total for 1 android phone, 1 apple phone and 2 computers. Prints well for basic needs. Would not recommend for photos that you want to put out to display. Overall solid basic printer. Will update when I use the scan and copier. Overall so far would recommend if need a basic wireless printer.

Excellent print and scan quality, but a total pain to set up via wireless LAN. Thank god for youtube lol. Took me about an hour or so to get it setup but after watching a single youtube video, it was up an running in a matter of minutes. The ink lasts for quite a while in this thing and it's reasonably priced. Definitely worth the money.
