New work horse for EVERYTHING...Super fast internal zoom well worth the price. No need for the 70-200 or 24-70 anymore

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of these before they sold completely out! This is an amazing lens, paired nicely with my Canon R5C. I have this now with my Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 prime lens. I have every shooting situation covered (at least the ones I need)!!!

This is one of the best standard zoom lenses on the market (by any brand). Period.
It is big (like old EF 70-200) but fairly light for the size so this is no issue.
Lens is sharp and focuses really fast.

Great value and versatile specially for weddings, giving you both, wide angles and enough zoom to capture those moments. F 2.8 is a perfect asset and mostly it’s able to take gorgeous photos.
When it comes to low light is where it gets tricky. It can loose it’s sharpness and it’s not always the sharpest, even when is prime and brand. That I do not understand and it would be my biggest downside

This might be a great lens? However, if you're waiting for Best Buy to get it, you may never know. I was hoping to use my Best Buy CC as I like the idea of deferred interest. Yet, I've been waiting over a year now and they NEVER have this lens in stock, even though you can buy it directly from just about any other camera store or Canon directly. I tried reaching out to Best Buy but they cannot look up items apparently or tell if something is ever going to be in stock.
