I ordered this camera on a Friday and shipping wasn't supposed to get it to me until Thursday the following week, however I received it next day on a Saturday. This camera is very easy to use, I just connected it to my computer and started using it in a zoom call right away. The quality is really good too. So far I am very impressed with this little camera.

This is an awesome everyday use camera for work. It has a hi def camera that I'm very happy with the picture quality. Its easy to use so I would be comfortable recommending this to my grandparents for Skype / Zoom etc knowing they wouldn't have any troubles setting it up. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase

Video quality ok does have nice field of view but colors over saturated and some what grainy in medium lighting. A nice feature is a slide camera cover but has annoying always on red light if not using and green if on. I do not want a red light on top of my monitor.

I had high expectations for a 1080P webcam, but after using it on Zoom, Go To Meeting, and Microsoft Teams, I can say I am less than thrilled. I also tried using it with Chroma Cam and that only makes it worse. The video quality is not as good as the built in 720P webcam on my HP laptop. The only thing I really like is the mount as it will clip over a screen or will stand on it's own at just about any angle needed. The width of the lens is fine with the proportions by not distorting the edges like a fisheye lens. Only the resolution was not up to par and that makes it not my favorite. Look for a different webcam if you want a sharp image and good color.

My laptop's webcam just doesn't cut it in the world of Zoom. I spend about half my time docked into a desktopish situation, the other half outside enjoying the weather on the laptop. I wanted something that I could easily use on both that wouldn't be prohibitively expensive, and this worked perfectly. In low-light it performs averagely, which is expected, but offers a great improvement over my laptops onboard camera. No complaints on the audio quality, though I normally use a headset.

Pro: -Plug and play Con: -Grainy -Overexposed -Bad auto focus -Terrible mic For the price, this camera is not worth it. The picture is grainy and overexposed in a lit room, and dark in low light. The mic is bad. It barely picks up anything and when it does, it sounds like someone is talking through a wall. If this was a cheap sub $40 camera then maybe it’s fine in a pinch, but the price is the same as other more reliable brand names. My old c615 is better than this. Build The camera feels light. It’s on a fold out stand that can convert to a clamp or attached to a tripod. It can pivot up and down but not side to side. It includes a clip on lens cover and a 5’ usb cable. It’s plug and play, so no software is needed, but you don’t have a way to adjust the image settings either. Video I tested this in a typical well lit home office with a window. WIth the lights on, the video is grainy and overly white. The edges look like they’re overly sharpened. If the light was in the shot, there’s a pink halo around it. WIth the lights off, not even enough to be considered low light, the image is dark looking like a night cam. I tried it with Windows Camera, Discord, and OBS, all had similar results. By comparison, my old 6 year old webcam and laptop camera provided more true to life color. . The auto focus is also bad. It will not focus on anything too close to the lens. You can tell that it’s trying to focus, but it’s slow and barely makes a difference. Mic The mic is terrible. I’m about 2 ft away from the camera and it can barely pick up my voice. It’s so low that it sounds muffled like I’m very far away. I have to get right in front of the camera for it to pick up, and it’s still below average level. If you’re using this for a call, you’ll need a dedicated mic. I tested this on 2 different pc’s and against other cameras just to make sure. I don’t recommend this camera. The price to quality is not worth it, even when webcams are in short supply right now. For the price, I would either wait till I can get the better brands or just buy a cheaper alternative.

The image quality is awesome. The sound quality is also excellent, and the webcam is extremely easy to set up, as all that it requires is a USB connection. There is no tweaking and nothing to adjust - completely plug and play. I highly recommend it.

Received my webcam quickly in the mail. It was just what I was looking for now that my job is requiring more remote work. Easy to set up and use with great quality! Highly recommended this product!

Unfortunately, this webcam doesn't provide vibrant picture like the description states. The picture looks like choppy , pixelated webcam quality. The microphone recording volume is unbelievably low. I'm not sure if I got a bad one or have unrealistic expectations, but I wasn't impressed. It did earn 3 stars for the ease and reliability of plug and play and that it fits well on top of my Macbook.

The Cody HD 1080p webcam is a USB webcam. Plug it in and it just works. I did not like the aesthetic appearance of the camera, it just looks cheap. The only problem I found is the Auto brightness did not adjust well in bright light, I had to manually adjust it. The color seems a little washed out. The highest resolution is 1080p as advertised.

I was looking for a good 1080P Webcam to connect with family and friends. This Webcam is plug and play with a great picture and good mic. I continue to get compliments from my friends about the quality. This Webcam is better than I expected and the price is excellent. I have recommend it to everyone.

I am amazed how fast Best Buy delivered this to me! It is a perfect size for me not bulky. I would highly recommend!

The picture quality on this device is the best in its class. Pair that with the affordability and here is a product that can't be matched or outclassed. Very happy with this product!

I was looking for a webcam to give to my 6 year old grandson to use with school and to Zoom call me. The CODi webcam came plug and play, No issue with the settings for my grandson.

We decided to take the virtual learning option at school and needed a webcam - this works perfect for our kids - originally they were using just their tablet's camera, but they move it around so much I was worried the teacher was going to get mad (if they ever looked at the screen!). We couldn't find other webcams available in store - but this showed up 2 days after ordering. definitely recommend.

“Just what we needed for school” My son needs a lot of support from his teachers and our old webcam just wasn’t cutting it. I needed something reliable and affordable, quick, to ensure he stays up to speed with the rest of his classmates. The CODi webcam is easy to install, easy to use, and a time-saver when we have to connect asap.

My Logitech started malfunctioning so I thought I’d try the codi. I wouldn’t say I’m “loyal” to brand names but I do typically go higher end. I figured I’d give this one a shot and see how it performed. I think it lives up to its description pretty well. Overall, I’m happy with it and don’t see myself getting another one any time soon.

I love this new webcam. It’s just what I needed to stay connected. I was not interested in buying a new laptop with a build in camera so I chose the budget friendly option and bought the codi webcam. I’m super happy with it.
