When I bought this mouse (for around $80) in December 2019, Best Buy had multiple high end gaming mice that are all wired for the same price this mouse cost. Each of those gaming mice were also available as a wireless version for an extra $100. This mouse doesn't have all the extra programmable buttons that the gaming mice do, but has the capability of being used either wirelessly, via bluetooth connection, and also wired (when plugged in to charge). All of the wireless items I have previously purchased that can be recharged with a USB cable are unusable while they are plugged in to charge. This mouse works at full capacity while it is plugged in and charging.

I love this mouse. I love the chunky, easy to find, mappable buttons. I set them to my abilities for MOBA games specifically smite. However I prefer my Dark Core for FPS games. Would recommend but make sure your dongle isnt more than 5 feet from the mouse or sometimes it loses connection to Icue and with that you lose your mapped buttons.

Mouse came out of the package with the dpi down button stuck down. I popped it up but now it doesn't lay flat and it sticks when used with any force. Will be returning for a new one. Other that that issue the mouse is amazing. Added pictures showing buttons at rest and when stuck.

    Great mouse

    Posted .

This mouse feels fantastic, it's wireless, I got mine for about the same price as the Harpoon wireless due to having points and it was 62 dollars 4 days ago or so, so it came to 50 dollars. Software, I saw how people just hate the software and to be honest it is convoluted, boy is it confusing but I finally figured it out and remapped certain keyboard functions to it for my games, makes old games more fun, also this is a cheap alternative to an Elgato Stream deck considering you can map macros to it like the deck, so I no longer need a stream deck thanks to this. I haven't tested the wireless part as I know it lasts longer than the dark core, which is why I bought it. Last but not least, this mouse has the potential to reach a new audience, not just PC owners but people who are only able to play with one hand, it makes a great controller for one hand and there's a market out there but to be honest it's not for everyone due to it being 80 dollars but I love it and it's better than using the keyboard to do alot of stuff in games.

Main issue was with the mouse double clicking every so often, sometimes back to back. Imagine closing out a tab and having to closed, liking a picture or comment only having to click 3 or four times to have it stick. Tried updating the firmare/software also used the 2.4hz and bluetooth settings, keeping the mouse charged. No fix. Past the return date so I just smashed the mouse out of rage. Seriously, that's how much I hate this overpriced mouse.

High quality, great for people who have larger hands. Responsive and delivers superior performance for fast paced gaming. Button placement in my opinion was a little awkward in terms of location, having said that coming from someone who’s double jointed. I would at times would find my self pressing more buttons than intended and was prone to hand cramping up on me mid match. Other than that great product would recommend as always for Corsair. Also, lots of fun customization options for rgb and macros in icue.

I am a gamer and custom PC builder on the side of my regular career and over the years I have recommend Corsair for many things whether its Ram/PSU or simply KB/M. This mouse is perfect for a person with a bigger hand, I absolutely love it and it comes with everything you need in a neat and orderly package..I played 2 games already and the precision is perfect and on point, I love the set up of Icue it's so easy to use to get the RGB options where you want them. Buy the mouse I promise you will love it, it is worth every penny of $49.99 luckily I ordered on my phone last minute because I had received the very last one from my store. Plus their are 10 programmable buttons and rated to 50 million clicks with omron swicthes now you can't beat that.

    Buttons, Grip
    Cons mentioned:
    Battery, Software, Weight

Bought this to play COD: Warzone, and it has done a great job so far. Skip down to Summary for TLDR. First off, as someone with multiple Corsair products (keyboard, headsets, mouse pad (!)) one of the best things is the integration of the various peripherals with the iCue software. It's not perfect software, but it's awfully slick. The mouse is perfect for large hands, as this is pretty big mouse. Buttons in pretty much ideal position, though this is subjective to each user. Sensitivity goes beyond what one should honestly play at: i have set to 1600 dpi, a fraction of its 18000, and I find it just as responsive as any wired mouse I've had. Multiple profiles for Gaming and other functions is fantastic. I honestly feel like I'm a better player with it, though I'm pretty mediocre still! Least I fully know that I am the problem, not my hardware! Only minor detraction's i have our: 1) the battery only lasts like 2 days, even having the power save option in iCue turned on. This is fixed by just plugging in the micro-usb cable and use as a wired mouse, but a little extra run time would be nice. I believe using bluetooth instead of 2.4ghz wireless mode can get additional usage, but bluetooth is not preferred for gaming. 2) Maybe i'm just use to junky mice, but some of the buttons click a little to easily, particularly the main left and right click, if you click at the very front end of the mouse button. If you click in the middle of the long buttons, it seems pretty normal, but if you get a grip on it that makes your fingertips click the very frontend of the buttons, it seems like it takes little to no effort to click, resulting in accidental shots in-game. This is probably a "me" issue, but just being honest with my experience. Other than that, really solid mouse, with alot of very nice and usable features. Mouse could be a little heavier/solidly built: it doesn't feel cheap, but it feels a little flimsy and a little bit of extra material, or removable weights could make this a more solid feeling product. Another gripe is the iCue software, but that is not due to the mouse itself, but again just relaying my experience. The iCue software is: 1) not beginner friendly for the best features that it possesses. They honestly need some UI guys to redo it and make things make more sense. But once you do figure it out, using online guides/videos, it is a very feature rich software package. BUT, it sure crashes/locks up alot. And this seems to be an ongoing issue with iCue for many years. A quick reboot of the PC or of the service itself fixes it, but can be a minor annoyance as it seems to happen every couple days. Summary: Great mid-range priced wireless mouse especially for larger handed users. Integrating with other Corsair products is a great feature due to iCue software. Even works good as a normal daily usage/work mouse.

This mouse is ideal for larger hands- I have very large hands and this fits me better then the Logitech MX Master 3 does. I really like the grooves in the main two buttons, my fingers fit perfectly and it feels more natural. The battery life of this mouse is also very good. I have not charged it in a while and i still have half the battery left. If you are getting this mouse for RGB, you will be disappointed. There are lights in the front, side and on the palm rest. The side lights cannot be adjusted to any sort of pattern etc. That leaves only the front and back. The back is covered by my hand so you never see the RGB when using it. The front lights are neat, but like i said, you do not get this mouse for the RGB. Also, I am very used to the Logitech G Hub software and learning the ICUE software was harder to do. I actually really love the mouse, but I do not like the ICUE software- it is also buggy and I never know when the software will do something strange, such as power cycling my Corsair Hydro H115I Platinum water cooler system. Even with these issues, i still really like the mouse and would recommend it. For those who have questions over getting a good mouse, I highly recommend going somewhere where you can hold and feel the mouse in your hand before you buy it. I have gone through four mice in the last six months before i found this one, and in all honesty, I find it a toss up on if i like this mouse or the MX Master 3 better.

Im giving this a 3/5 because I cant say my experience is the norm. I really liked this mouse. I bought it to upgrade from my M65 mouse that ive been using for around 5 years now. Since wireless technology has come so far I wanted to give it a shot and Corsair is my favorite peripherals company and I wanted somthing with a lot of buttons so I settled on this mouse. I read reviews for this saying they had double click issues and the battery life was garbage but I just assumed they were bad units, not that this mouse in general was bad. Unfortunately I have the same complaints. I like to customize my buttons to fit my gaming and this was perfect for that, but after a day the mouse would randomly switch back to its default button layout and RGB. This made it extremely difficult to play games since one minute id be playing and the next my macros wouldnt be working. Not only would that happen, but every time it would switch back to default the double clicking issue would pop up. I would have to click something twice in order for it to recognize the click. I updated Corsairs ICUE software thinking that was the reason but it still would do it. Then after 8 days I noticed the battery life was horrendous compared to just 8 days prior. It would be halfway gone after just 8 hours of gaming/work when this supposedly has a 40 hour battery life. I was plugging it in so much that it was like I was using a wired mouse again. I returned it yesterday and purchased the Logitech 502 lightspeed wireless mouse. So far it isnt as comfortable as the corsair ironclaw, but it is extremely responsive and there is no delay between turning it on and using it. All in all if you get a perfect unit then this mouse is great, but the fact so many custoners are experiencing the same problems with this mouse makes me not recommend it to others.

    Pros mentioned:
    Buttons, Fit, Grip
    Cons mentioned:
    Clicking, Software

Big, chunky boi! Rubber grips and large size makes this a great mouse for big, manly hands. On smaller hands, it will fill your entire palm, and for me, makes it a little harder to click some of the extra buttons. Additional buttons are handy and fully customizable, though the iCue software can be a little confusing to remap the extra buttons. Once set, you can save the profile, so you won't have to mess with that again. The mouse overall feels solid and sturdy, but most of the buttons feel lower quality. The main right/left buttons and the extra 2 forward buttons have a little play in them, and those 2 forward index finger buttons don't have a solid, satisfying click, along with a bit of a squeak, which sometimes messes with my gaming. I often have to press real hard to make sure the click registers. The 3 thumb buttons are tight and clicky, though, and work beautifully for reload and other skills buttons you need quick access to. The wireless signal is finicky, so you might have to position the receiver just the right way to get consistent results. On my old laptop, I had to use the included USB cable and adapter and tape it to the edge of my desk for the wireless to work without issues. I got a new laptop, and the receiver works just fine in the on-board USB 3.0 ports, so, that's weird. It glides decently on many surfaces, but my best performance has been paired with the smooth side on the Corsair MM600 Dual Sided Aluminum Gaming Mouse Pad. There is still friction, even on this combination, and with the higher than usual weight of the mouse, it won't slide freely across your desk. I like the rechargeable feature, so I can plug the mouse in overnight and always have it on full, ready to go. The battery does last a long time, even with RGB lighting, so even if you don't top off the battery every night, it will last at least several days, as long as the power switch is off when not in use. If you get a deep discount on this mouse, it'll get the job done. But I feel there are better mice from other brands in the same price range. Personally, I think Logitech has both better build quality and software.

The corsair Ironclaw RGB is better than it thought. It offers precision control and comes with the ability for customizing the functions. Stylish and ergonomically designed.

Great wireless mouse, love how it has a long charging cable so you can use it while it charges. The button customization is great, lots of customization options when using it with iCUE software from Corsair.

While the mouse itself is great I have had some REAL issues with the wireless part of it. Everytime the computer sleeps this mouse loses all its saved profiles. Its always having wireless issues to the point of me moving the dongle right next to it. Just overall this mouse could have been amazing if the software wasnt just trash. Feels like its built solid but the software just drops the ball. Will be looking into a replacement at some point soon.

I really like this mouse, but I hate corsairs program it is difficult to change buttons the way I would like to have them set up. It has 4 of the 7 buttons as lighting and dpi settings. Otherwise it is a really good mouse.

Bought this mouse to compliment my new k70 keyboard. The only issues I've had is connecting it to the app to get the latest update. The screen freezes but not a major concern for now. Otherwise, it does exactly what I need it to do.

I love this mouse. It is user friendly. The fact that you can utilize it while charging is the best.
