I needed a lot of fast space for gaming at a good price to add to my gaming rig. I already had a 2tb m.2 drive for my boot drive and game sizes are getting insane. So I decided i needed a solid state drive to put in off SATA so I can enjoy some fast speed games with a large capacity and these 2.5" ssd's really dropped to decent prices. At like 210 right now for the Crucial 4tb that's pretty solid as most are pushing a lot more. This is in comparison to the Microcenter inland drives prices. So far easy peazy install on windows 10. Popped it in my 1st open sata slot. Went into drive management. Gave it a fresh partition format. and boom. ready to go. Assigned my Steam to acknowledge it in settings and now I can install tons of games on it. Highly recommended. No issues.

This thing is dirt cheap and you get a lot of storage for the price, but it's super slow if you write a lot of large files to it continuously. I'm using it for a Plex server, and after adding it to my array, the initial population of the drive went fast. After a few minutes, however, it got abysmally slow, and so it took many hours to copy the rest of the files. That's a normal characteristic of cheap SSDs like this, just something to be aware of. For someone using it for typical basic computer stuff, you'll probably never have this issue, and you get a name brand drive with oodles of capacity without spending a lot of money. But, if you care about performance and need fast sustained write speeds, get something else.

Eazy to isntall and configure. I upgraded the old hard drive to this new one and realized the speed that I recovered by using this new super fast hard drive. the old bottle neck is gone and the machine is performing at its best. I love it.

These are very simple to install, format and use. They are basically plug and play after formatting. Install time is mostly about what device you are installing them into

It works well. I got it after speaking with kevin i am a rep that works 3rd party within the store and i got it during my break after about 2 months from buying it i installed it and it works like a charm.

Setuo was simple and straightforward. I had it ibstalled and running 30-minutes after i left the Best Buy store. I edit videos and 4TB is the sweet spot for me.

Got this for my eufy HB3, sadly, it didn’t work. It wouldn’t format through the HB and even after using an actual laptop to try and format it, it wouldn’t let me as it’s now just a “read only” format. HB3 might have tried to format it, but when I used a laptop, it had 3 different partitions. So either it was used, or it’s not compatible. I installed an older SSD which worked fine.

Good Price. Great response time. Should be more stable than HDD I expect a usable life of at least three years. Time will tell.

I purchased the Crucial BX500 4TB Internal SSD SATA to replace the internal hard drive in my PS4 and it works great! It was also on sale and the cheapest option at the time. I highly recommend this SSD if you're looking for something that works and is affordable.

As close to plug and play a ssd can get. Fits well in my ssd cage.

I’ve liked Crucial SSDs if I don’t plan on utilizing Samsung Magician to copy and replace an old storage drive. A nice, cheaper alternative to Samsung drives as well. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, installing a 4TB so that it's one Win 11 boot drive (c:) was not the first outcome when the machine was returned. The drive seems to be okay; we'll see what happens when I get it back the second time. It's an excellent drive, but cautious installation is needed.
