This is a good, solid RAM kit. No frills at all. It's extremely easy to install and having more memory can never hurt a computer. CAS latenency of 22 is a bit high but this isn't an extrememly expensive set of memory. Getting 32GB of memory at $70 is still a great deal.
I had no issues at all when installing this in my own machine. The heat spreaders are not super large, which is nice because my Noctua cooler can have issues with RAM clearance. Ran at 3200mhz without enabling any XMP profile on my machine.
In terms of usage, these are exactly what one would expect from a basic RAM kit. 32GB is plenty of memory for most daily tasks. Does pretty well with memory intensive tasks (a bunch of Chrome tabs). Crucial is known for making affordable, quality products and this is exactly that. Nothing special, but that's okay when it comes to something boring like RAM or memory. If it works as advertised, there's really not much more to be said.
This is a quality product that I would gladly recommend to someone in the market for a solid pair of DDR4 RAM sticks.

Purchased to upgrade my computer from 16gb of G Skill RAM to this 32gb kit from Crucial. 1 stick was defective. I tested each stick individually and I even swapped them individually into the opposite RAM slots. Only 1 stick was able to boot. Unfortunately I had to return the RAM.

THE Crucial Pro 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 UDIMM CL22 Desktop Memory is two piece, high speed, memory kit designed for gaming or to otherwise improve system/memory performance. It is compatible with systems that can take DDR4-3200 UDIMM memory and downclock capable for systems that only support 2933 or 2666MT/s. It is compatible with 8th–13th generation.Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 1000–5000 Series desktop CPUs. Intel XMP 2.0 is also supported for easy performance recovery.
I have an MSI desktop computer with a 10th. generation i7 Intel CPU, an Nvidia RTX3080 GPU, and 16 Gigabytes of RAM. The computer has 4 memory slots, 2 of which are occupied. I choose to remove the existing memory from the 2 slots and install the Crucial Pro. The memory was easy to install and immediately recognized. In operation with the new memory, the computer was noticeably faster and the Novabench RAM score increased from 238 to 310, or about 30%. Overall system operation was also much smoother which I'm sure was also partially due to the increase in RAM from 16GB to 32GB.
In summary, the Crucial Pro is an easy solution for anyone who wants to improve system and gaming performance and whose system meets the above requirements.

I got the Crucial DDR4 Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3200MT/s memory module upgrade kit today. I’ve been looking forward to upgrading my Ryzen 7 desktop which is currently running 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2666MT/s, as it’s been showing its age in the last few months. I’ll be replacing this PC with a new model in a few weeks, but this will be my backup PC as it is set up with many programs that I currently use. As I migrate to the new PC, this will then get delegated to an arcade machine, which will still benefit from the memory upgrade. That said, here’s what I’ve encountered so far.
I opened up the old PC and it was the perfect time to dust the old girl out. I had a vacuum running to catch the dust as it escaped the case and a can of spray air getting all the dust bunnies to become airborne. I then reached behind the removable half chassis and popped out the old ram modules. Unfortunately for me, getting the new ones in the same way just didn’t work with my hands, so I unscrewed the four chassis screws and opened the panel as little as possible. I was then able to pop in the 32GB module kit and I thought…tada. I reinstalled the panel and it was ready to fire up.
I pressed the power button and waited for Windows 11 to show its splash screen and login. Nope, this PC had something else in mind, like giving me the I can’t load Windows so do you want to restore or try to reload again? I did that a few times and then I decided to check bios and see if it saw the new memory. I started the PC again and went through all the trying to load screens and got to the Windows 11 restore options. I picked open UEFI, and it had the option to open BIOS. I picked system info, and the memory was there. I didn’t do anything else. I just picked to power down the unit. Then I waited a bit to fully power it down, next was to pull the plug for an hour or so, but for whatever reason, Windows 11 ran and opened up to the login screen. Maybe it just needs a full restart after the ram is installed. Whatever the reason, it wasn’t the Crucial module’s fault, just my configuration, and my PC. I’ve run it for the last 24 hours and slept with it running as well as powering it down a few times including when I updated my graphics driver. I can say the PC is running much faster and better. My videos and music are on an external drive, and I was getting a huge lag when I would first open a music program and a skip or two on some songs when I was playing them. The lag is now gone, the music library opens right up, and I’ve only had one pause/skip in all the music I’ve listened to over the last few days. In fact, it feels like every program is snappier, faster, and without lag. Even this word processor that would stall occasionally is working great.
Lastly, I was happy with Crucial’s ability to let me see if this PC could take the upgrade and in fact, it’s the perfect kit as 32GB is the largest this motherboard will accept. So being this PC is a few years old, it’s due for a replacement, but not quite ready to be stored in the attic with its older buddies. I’d recommend this kit to anyone with a 2-3-year-old desktop that can support it. You’ll probably be able to extend its life a bit longer. If I had to, I would be fine with using this as my daily PC for the near future.
Update: I’ve had a few BSOD when I was running Windows Insider updates, but I’ve turned that off and I’ll be back to normal after the next major update. Since turning it off, the BSOD’s have gone, but I’ve had three in the last two days after installing the ram kit. I can’t say that is what’s causing it since I still have an insider copy of Windows running, but the timing isn’t great. I won’t change my 5-star rating, but just FYI to anyone interested.

The Crucial Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 UDIMM CL22 RAM Kit is a great RAM upgrade kit that has worked very well for me. I have come to really love the Crucial brand because of its reliability and compatibility with all of the systems I have used it in. I recently purchased this same RAM in the 16GB (2x8GB) kit to upgrade the RAM in my main work computer, and I really liked the results so I was very confident that this 32GB (2x16GB) kit was going to live up to my high expectations as well.
My main work computer previously had only a single stick of 8GB RAM before I upgraded it with the previously mentioned 16GB (2x8GB) kit. Prior to the upgrade, I had a lot of issues with the PC whenever I was trying to multitask with multiple windows and programs running at once. Once I upgraded, the issues I was experiencing dropped dramatically but it still felt like there was room for a little more improvement which is why I decided to upgrade to this 32GB (2x16GB) kit. So far, I am very happy with the results since I am not experiencing any of the issues I used to experience. I even used the other upgrade kit that is the exact same as this RAM kit but in a smaller capacity in my co-worker’s system and there haven’t been any issues.
In summary, I am very happy with the Crucial Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 UDIMM CL22 RAM Kit and if you are looking to upgrade the RAM in your system for a smoother experience when multitasking or running data-intensive applications, I highly recommend this particular set of Crucial memory.

I was pleasantly surprised by this ram upgrade, I wasn't expecting a huge performance increase but ended up with a pretty good change of pace on my pc that was noticeable.
Pros:
The ram boasts a 33% faster rate with Intel XMP 2 enabled in bios, which after running a few benchmark tests on my original vs this ram, there is a performance increase for sure.
The ram also has heat shields (heat spreaders) which helps keep the ram cool on intense loads.
Cons: I really didn't have any issues with the ram, installing it/using it etc.
I did for the fun of it, tried to install it on my gen 7 intel machine that currently has 2400 ddr 4 in it,
but the chips wouldn't work on the machine or the machine wouldn't work with the ram, regardless the packaging does say to install it on a machine with intel 8th gen or higher
so I do not consider this a fault at all....
my gaming rig always felt a little sluggish in certain games and moving between apps,..
and it can be hard to determine sometimes if it's your hard drive, ram or cpu that is the culprit with things like that, however after I installed this ram and enabled xmp in bios, my machine felt like I actually upgraded something as it ended up making the pc feel more peppy/speedy then it felt before.
I would recommend this ram to anyone looking for a good solid ram upgrade.
It may not have rgb etc, but it seems to keep it's promise and works as advertised which is giving you faster ram!

More RAM for Windows is always a good idea

Microsoft Windows will always be a memory hog. The more RAM the better and this kit is a no-brainer for making every aspect of your computing experience better. What I love most about this RAM kit is that it comes with a heat sink and sure that’s useful to keep the temperature of the memory lower but the most useful feature is that your fingers no longer get stabbed when installing the RAM.
After installing the RAM in a variety of different Intel desktops, I caution that If you have a Dell Inspiron 3910 with an Intel Core i5-12400 12th Gen you’ll need to skip this RAM kit as it’s not compatible. All attempts to use the RAM with this combination result in the Dell unable to boot. I reached out to Dell tech support who shrugged at the problem saying they only support RAM purchased directly from them. Crucial tech support has been unable to offer up any reasons that this won’t work other than to assure me that it should. The tech specs for the RAM, the motherboard and chipset documentation all say it should work as well. “Should work” and “actually work” are not the same thing so in my case it’s good I didn’t really need the extra RAM in the Inspiron 3910 and that this kit ended up in one of my older gaming rigs.
Overall I love it when technology just works and more RAM for windows always works.

It is somewhat hard to review RAM as most discerning users may never realize a difference from one brand to another. Having more RAM can be a great thing, but the speed of the RAM can definitely be subjective at best. For this particular review, the biggest impact on my opinion is probably the size of the RAM (16 GB per stick) in combination with the fact that it is 3200 DDR4, making the sticks some of the largest and fastest available for a DDR4 machine. While my computer lacks a window to see the innards, it was still nice to see that this RAM was well-finished with a metal encasement around the entire board, which makes it look nice and should also serve as a heat sink to keep the RAM cool (not that overheating RAM in a non-overclocked machine is [or should be] a problem). I was able to use this RAM to upgrade my computer from 16 GB (2x8) to 32 GB (2x16), which should help with multitasking and other similar activities. Admittedly, my computer has a rather fast processor and GPU, so the speed of the RAM and latency will probably not make a huge difference in practical application. Generally speaking, though, this RAM works and does exactly what it should. Good capacity, good speed, and good price. That's a trifecta in my book.

Excellent option for new or older PCs

This is the perfect choice if you have a slightly older PC and just want something that works well. You might not get the max speeds possible if your setup doesn't permit it (you might be capped at a lower speed than what the RAM potentially offers), but you'll get fast performing memory that doesn't require extensive setup or fine-tuning that will improve the performance of your machine.
This RAM is primarily useful for creators and business or IT professionals. The packaging recommends this for gaming, but in all likelihood PC gamers would opt for DDR5 RAM anyway. For content creation, video and audio editing, and music recording, this is highly recommended. You will see performance gains, you'll be able to handle more processes (especially with music recording, which I can attest to), and best of all - you won't have to fuss with settings to get the maximum benefit from this. Again, PC gamers, who enjoy tinkering with settings, should probably opt for the DDR5 version of this, but for the rest of us, this is an excellent way to upgrade a 3-4 year-old desktop. Highly recommended for content creators.

The Crucial Pro 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 3200 MT/s DDR4 brings serious a RAM upgrade to your computer or gaming system with this powerful RAM Chip set. 2x16GB chips easily replace your existing RAM and brings speed, performance, and minimal lag times when you need it most. Quality construction you can feel compared to other RAM chip brands. Easy to install and ready to use!
This chip set was easy to swap out for the existing 2x8 set in our gaming computer and after the initial reboot, the power of these 2 upgrades was immediately evident. The load time for the computer was nearly cut in half, everything was extremely responsive, and saw a noticeable increase in performance for online and connected gaming. Benchmark testing also showed these results after running 2 different tests to ensure it wasn't a placebo effect.
PROS
- Crucial brand, quality, and performance.
- Quality build and feel compared to other brands.
- Easy to install
- DDR4-3200 DIMM generation and speed
- Benchmark testing prove the speed, clock, and power of these chips.

I installed the Crucial Pro 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 UDIMM CL22 (8Gbit/16Gbit) in my Asus S500TD Performance Desktop to upgrade it from its out-of-the-box 8GB of RAM.
The 2 memory modules installed easily by first removing the old RAM. Then line up the center gap on the new DIMMs and press in the lower side until you hear an audible click. Then press in the upper side. Finally secure the retainer clip. After that, using an open-source stand-alone memory tester called Memtest86+, I tested the new memory. Both tested at 100%, without issue.
The desktop that I upgraded is primarily serving as a streaming media server using Plex. It also runs software for remote access called TeamViewer and Powerchute for controlling shutdowns in the event of a power loss. Overall the unit starts quicker and now has extra capacity that allows it to serve multiple media streams effortlessly.
I am very happy with the Crucial Pro 32GB kit. And currently priced at only $70, I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to give their desktop a bump in performance.

I needed some no frill ram without anything special like RGB as my Lenovo with the I7 that I bought a few years back is at the stage where it doesn't need to be replaced just yet, but needs a little beefing up here and there. I upgraded the 12 gigs that it came with to 32 using these two 16 gig sticks. The increase in speed and smoothness in which apps load is very apparent. I do like the heat sinks in them that help them disipate heat.

I just upgraded one of my gaming PCs to 32GB of memory, but my other PC only had 16, so I thought the Crucial Pro 32GB Kit would be a good upgrade for it and I wasn’t wrong.
The Crucial Pro 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 is an excellent choice for gamers, content creators, and other power users who need a lot of memory. It’s also one of the quickest ways to get more performance out of a PC. If are at 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 then this is your ticket to better multitasking and even higher frame rates in your games.
In terms of performance, the Crucial Pro 32GB Kit is rated at PC320, so while not the fastest DDR4 on the market, it sits right in the middle of the pack. I didn’t run any benchmarks because honestly if you’re looking for benchmarks then you wouldn’t really be looking at this product as it’s not geared toward the enthusiast market. The Crucial Pro line is more geared towards professionals that want good enough performance backed by Crucial’s quality and lifetime warranty.
Overall, the Crucial Pro 32GB Kit is a great choice for anyone who needs a lot of memory or wants to upgrade their system for better performance. It is well-made, reliable, and fast enough. I wouldn’t shy away from recommending this to anyone.
Here are some of the pros and cons of the Crucial Pro 32GB Kit:
Pros:
Fast enough performance
Lifetime warranty
Reliable
Great for more casual gamers, video editors, and other power users
Cons:
Can be somewhat expensive
Not geared toward extreme gamers/power users
It may not be compatible with all systems (Please check the website for compatibility)

The Crucial Pro is a pretty easy choice to make for those looking to upgrade their hardware all without breaking the bank. And while there are no pretty RGB lighting options, these two sticks are a powerhouse to be reckoned with. The crucial pro is a perfect choice and easy fit for anyone using PCie 4 or 5. And while i have not personally tested this on the gen 3s i have read that it will work on that board. The Crucial sticks are very easy to install and at 32 gigs combined between the two this allows for additional memory slots to be freed up. Read and write speed is amazingly fast at a stock clock speed of 3200mhz. This truly requires no overclocking as load times between scene is done within seconds rather than minutes. You can expect smoother and more importantly steadier frame rates while gaming high pace games. If your a gamer looking for a upgrade and truly don't care for looks then this is simply an easy buy as the speeds are more than enough for anything your going to throw at it. If your new to the PC building world and your wondering whats the difference between these sticks and a set of $300 ones, not much honestly. The more expensive sticks are going to have RGB lighting and offer slightly more overclock however at 32 gigs at 3200mhz there is nothing in the gaming world at this point that i can think that would require more power and speed. If you truly don't care about lighting and looks then do yourself a favor and buy these sticks of RAM. They will be able to easily handle AAA gaming with the right set up.

Great Memory Upgrade!

The Crucial Pro 32GB desktop memory upgrade kit is worth every penny, especially if you are using your desktop computer for very labor intensive tasks, such as video editing, photo edition, and computer gaming. Honestly, it put my computer well over the amount of DDR4 memory that I needed. I edit a lot of photos and videos. The desktop I have came with some preinstalled, but using large editing software was slow and clunky. It always took a lot of time to load the software and then, while making edits, the software was slow to react to the changes I made. The Crucial Pro 32GB memory upgrade changed all that. All I had to do was match the specs from my desktop to the upgrade kit to ensure it would fit for my desktop. After that, I simply shut down the computer and unplugged it. I took the side cover off the desktop tower and removed the old DDR4 memory that was preinstalled. Once the old memory chips were removed, I slid the new ones into place. They literally clicked into place. I placed the cover back on the computer, plugged it back into a power source, and turned the computer on. It was JUST THAT SIMPLE! There was not software to be installed. The computer's speed is noticeably faster already! Upgrade your computer, you'll be glad you did!

Adding extra memory can be a quick and easy way to increase the performance of your computer. Some computers can be a little more involved but for the most part, memory is the easiest performance upgrade even for the novice. Crucial by Micron has long been one of those names you know you can count on when it comes to memory and that’s still so. My girlfriends 13 year old son is a huge pc gamer so any advantage he can get when it comes to gaming he will take it! He has a gaming tower that has 4 easily accessible memory slots and is upgradeable to 64gb.
The machine came with 16gb from the factory so going from 16 to 48gb, this gave him a noticeable increase in frame rate and overall performance. When he started gaming two years ago on this machine the 16gb worked fine, but as he got into more graphically intense games he definitely noticed a difference. Stepping up to 48gb, he’s noticed an increase in load times and graphics as the frame rates are higher and much more steady especially when he puts the settings to max. If you’re computer needs a performance boost, the quickest and easiest way is a memory upgrade and Crucial is a name you can trust.
