Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It burns at a much higher temperature, I set to 200 and it jumps to 375. 2 months ago support said they were sending a replacement probe and it still hasn't arrived. Almost $300 I spent for the convenience of a steady temperature and it is just sitting in the garage for almost 4 months. Shame on you Cuisinart for this and raising the price on a worthless product.

I will use it at home and I will take this camping. Nothing better then smoking a great piece of meat while camping and sharing that with friends and family.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As others have said, poor temp regulation. When set to 225, it would fluctuate between 190 and 360. Warranty service includes you learning how to work on the unit and it is slow. I replaced many of the internal components myself and still could not get it to work. I wasted a few hundred dollars worth of meat and at least 4 hours of my direct time diagnosing and working on the unit before returning it and swallowing the restocking fee. To be fair, my friend has one that works great which is why I purchased this.
