I have two of these units one for my pc and the other for my tv, cable box, and PS. Love the fact it has two USB ports. The program for testing / monitoring provides information that helps and gives you a guess on how long it can run on batteries. It said that the pc has 30 min and for the tv with everything on about 5 to 10 min. Haven't had a outages yet. I feel the back up will do a good job. I did charge up the batteries first for 8 hours than connected everything.

This is the best back-up system for my computer needs. I needed the extra two outlets (12 in this and 8 in my old one) to accommodate a new Wi-Fi mesh system I installed recently. I wanted uninterrupted power to my computer, monitor, AT&T gateway and TP-Link Deco mesh system. Very easy setup. Works great!
Hello DavidjP, We are glad to hear that you found the unit easy to set up and use, thank you for choosing us!

CyberPower offers great value and performance compared to other higher priced brands. This unit has been a great workhorse, offering plenty of outlets for devices which need uninterruptible power, and surge protection for non-essentials.

Years ago while working for a computer networking company I learned that these battery backup and surge protectors were worth every Penney I paid for them. When others had their equipment fried mine stayed safe. I bought this for my mother and one for myself. Very happy with this. Would recommend it.

This back-up fit my needs perfectly. It has plenty of outlets for my mac mini, monitor, cable modem, wifi router, and 4 external drives. The free PowerPanel Personal software allows of your home AC power, battery back-up system, as well as allowing a controlled shut down of the system in the event of a power outage.

I needed a battery backup quickly to take the place of another unit and I could be any happier. I have never used CyberPower units before and I was willing to take a chance with this one. I do not regret the decision. The unit is the right size for where I needed it to fit, has the number of outlets I needed and its design meant I needed less power extension cables due to the size of the transformer plugs.

This product is working well and is giving us a sense of safety and security. No negatives to report. We are using this product to back up one computer.

I primarily purchased this back-up to use temporarily while finishing off a new PC build and transferring data from one PC to the other. I didn't see the need for a full UPS, yet I wanted power glitch protection and a higher joule rating than another brand. I've transitioned the new PC to the higher power UPS and will move this to protect A/V equipment.

Coming up on two years of ownership now, and very satisfied with the 950VA. We have had a few power outages and each time the unit kept our two desktop PC's going until I got our generator going. If you are shopping for an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) be sure to determine you wattage needs.

The 950 kVA CyberPower UPS provides reliable backup power for my cable modem, router and VOIP phone for a number of hours. Grid electric power has gotten unreliable recently, so this inexpensive and reliable UPS provides both surge protection and backup power with enough outlets for all computer related equipment. Best Buy was great to buy from online with free delivery.

This power bank is pretty solid purchase, and it has all the bells and whistles. Theres plenty outlets that you can use for all of your electronics, and if you have electrical issues like I do at my house;this powerbank keeps you from losing important data on your computer. It pretty easy set up and well wroth the price, I highly suggest it!

Great product! We've experienced alot of short power outages lately and this has been a life saver keeping our computer on so we don't loose documents. Haven't had a single issue with lost files since we installed this. Checked out other similiar ones online and chose this because there was not a requirement to download software, etc. We simply plugged it in and it worked immediately.

First off, this is a great unit. Only had it a couple weeks and had a three hour power outage. Kept the computer running plenty long for me to shut down safely. Something I didn’t notice until I had it at home and was plugging things in is that the outlets on the surge side have the ground pointing to the center. This is fine for regular plugs, but could cause some routing issues if you have several flat plugs that would crossover the center. Though, I can see the design, as it is, would be helpful if you have the unit in a tight spot in a cabinet.

This replaced my old ups that died. I like the number of plugs, and more importantly the spacing that allows for large brick type plugs. Unlike the apc I was looking at.

Have had a power blip since installing and the Modem and PC never dropped. A few weeks later turned off the power to the home office to replace a couple of power outlets and light switches. Went to the office to confirm the power was off and was surprised to find the modem and PC were still working until I remembered the battery back-up strip. It gave me time to plug into an extension cord to the next room to continue running the internet to the house for the short time it took to replace the plugs and switches. When the power was turned back on, returned the unit to the original plug in and the internet stayed available to everyone the entire time.
It was one of the Deals of the Day, so it was an exceptional value. Had been considering one, could not resist the price when I found it on sale.

I have not had to use the back-up feature yet, but the unit itself is very easy to set up. There are receptacles for power back-up as well as surge protection only (for units that draw a lot of power).
The only thing I note as a caution, just for awareness, is that the plug cants to the left. If there is limited space to the right of the wall socket, this can be an issue.
