Does what it needs to as far as a battery back-up,

Nice UPS battery backup! Works great for keeping your electronics safe from power spikes!

Bought this to replace an APC that failed after 3 years of light use. The software did NOT shut down my computer as it said it would, at least that is the indication I am getting when I started it up. It went to a screen that indicated that the shutdown was not normal and offered the choice of a safe startup or normal.

This product has worked great for us. A must buy for anyone with a computer to protect!

With all of the electrical outages in southern Florida this is truly a must have purchase. It also protects against electrical surges. It has come on many times while I am on the computer and allows me to continue uninterrupted with no data loss.

For a battery backup system with surge protection, this device seems to fit the bill. I don't expect it to run my computer for long during a power outage, but hopefully it will keep me from dealing with data loss when the power goes out.

I bought this to replace my old one that was the same model. I have owned several CyberPower products and it is 50/50 whether my equipment was protected. During a thunder storm my PC was wacked so bad I needed to replace the processor. CyberPower did not pay for the damages even though they claim a guarantee. They did replace the CyberPower unit. During another storm, it took the hit and protected the equipment. That's why I needed a replacement. There is little else available in this price range, so this is as good as it gets.

It cover all my needs for my home LAN, my computer and peripherals.

This has worked well so far. It beeps when using the battery portion.

Overkill for a NAS, but it was the cheapest model available in my area that was on Synology's compatibility list. Works as expected. CyberPower ships with the battery plugged in; in contrast to APC where the battery comes disconnected. That said, it does not appear that CyberPower wants the battery to be easily accessible. Also, CyberPower uses a standard USB cable, as opposed to APC's proprietary one, so props to them. Synology DS212j recognized this UPS without incident. The unit survived a brownout also without incident.

Works very well. Runs quiet, no bright lights, and inexpensive.
