These little speakers sound great for movies in our large family room. Was a bit worried if they would fill the space since the room has 28ft ceilings, but they do great! We don’t turn the volume up to the point of movie theater sound levels but I have every confidence that if we wanted them to, they would do that just fine. Bass is fine, and fills in the low end well. It’s not a tower speaker setup and doesn’t do the best job with music but it’s passable and it blends into our room so well it doesn’t matter.

We just bought a house and were able to run all the wires through the wall to our speakers. But didn't want huge speakers hanging all over the house. These were the perfect option. Big sound in a little speaker! Love watching movies like Star Wars and lord of the rings and such because it sounds like you are there! Definitely would recommend over a big ugly system.

The sound crystal clear. Not over bearing. Just a really high quality sounding system. We hid the wires with a molding set we got from Home Depot.

Great Sound, but not enough bass

I am a big fan of Definitive Tech Speakers. I have a set of Model: AW6500WHI for my patio and they are perfect. Given that I purchased the Pro Cinema 600 and paired it with a Denon AVR-X2200 receiver. The speakers sound great but the powered sub really falls flat. I set the crossover to mid level and put the volume at about mid point. This worked OK for movies. I wanted to hear more bass, so I increased the volume on the bass and it started vibrating. You ended up with a combination of bass and vibration. I think that's because the sub itself is very small. I then tested it at the max crossover and it just sounds terrible. It was more of a thud thud versus a thump thump! If you are like me and want to watch movies with theater like sound this is not the system for you. If you want crisp audio with a subtle hint of bass then these are OK. Speakers are going back. I'm keeping the DENON Receiver.

This little set-up is perfect for a small room. The sub is surprisingly good for the size. The bottom end does roll off quite a bit when below 40hz. The satellites sound nice. The weakest point of this unit is the center channel. It sound a little flat - hence the 4 stars. Put it in a little room or bedroom, and you are golden.

We got this speaker set to go with a Yamaha receiver and couldn't be happier. These speakers are so clear, powerful and are very good looking too. The subwoofer absolutely pounds! We had to (and strongly recommend) put foam contact paper under it because we have wood flooring and the sub would actually walk and even unplug while watching movies with intense action or listening to music (even country). If you have carpet, don't worry about it. Best set of speakers for the money for sure and worth every penny! I was told that they were made by previous Bose employees and it was thought that they could make a better product for less. I'm sold. The warranty is also amazing. I think after i purchased the extended warranty they are covered for like 8 or 9 years.

I definitely notice sound quality between this one paired with Definitive pro Cinema speakers 600 + pioneer elite 700w from old 5.1 Home theater HTS5580W/F7 | Philips all in one 1000w .. I can clearly hear conversations, all connected devices straight by Hdmi is included in surround sound , and just enough bass that it almosts seems professionally installed . I am very impressed but sometimes want to go back to raggedy bass The speakers are pretty small but don't worry the work great so far. just because i had old system paid for about $500 less and current system is pretty technical. The reason i give 4 stars is that there is a fuse @ back of subwoofer that i easily stripped on 1st set of speakers because there is a flathead slot to use to remove and had to return 1st set because i damaged it due to this . I got warranty so not worried about failure due to this but cost me more money.

If you are limited by size for a set of home theater speakers, this is the set to get. They are very compact, but have the presence of much larger speakers. They do great to fill my medium sized, open living room but are not obtrusive in the living space. They do lack the bass of large speakers, but have the ability to compensate with great integration of the sub. Highly recommended.

We have had this speaker set for about two months and it is working very well. The system was easy to set up and easy to use. We did a sound test and it really improved the quality of sound coming from our speakers. These speakers are small but pack a lot of volume. You won't be disappointed.

I was replacing my old set when I went out to purchase my new system. I love the size it's not too bulky but delivers a powerful punch. It is perfect for your every day set up for an awesome price. I was a little hesitant at first because I wasn't familiar with the name, but I am more than impressed.

I really enjoy this system, the sound is a major upgrade over the tv or any soundbar. It was easy to setup and they look great. Subwoofer is not as powerful as I would like but I will just add one to the system in the next upgrade.

I purchased these to replace my Harmon Kardon surround system. I chose this system based on the size of the speakers and the sound in the store seemed good even with all the store back ground noise. ( purchased at a Best Buy that didn't have a Magnolia room ). After getting it setup and listening to them in the comfort of my home I am over joyed at the sound. The sub woofer delivers a rich deep base that doesn't over power the other speakers. Even just watching regular tv programs is enhanced. A lot of bang for the buck with this system.

This system offers a lot in a small package. The surround speakers are all the same size and quite heavy, definitely require wall anchors when installing on Sheetrock. The sound is great and better than the Boston Acoustics system I have in another room on a similar Denon AV unit. The setup is different, as the recommendation is to run the signal into the subwoofer and the speakers connect out of the sub. This does work well, but different than other systems I have installed.

Researched all sorts of home theater options (sound bars, home theater in a box, speaker combos, and finally decided on this with the help of a BB customer service rep. This system was set up in the Magnolia Room, so I got to hear the quality for both movies and music. Easy to hook up and the movie experience with the subwoofer and surround sound is awesome.

    Definitive ProCinema 600

I have owned many Definitive products in the past, always impressed with the quality and sound. I have a strange family room layout, I didn’t want the bulky boxy looking Klipsch Reference anymore. I was looking into the Definitive Micro Soundbar it this ProCinema 600. I was first hesitant because the Subwoofer is an 8” very compact unit, I have a 12” ported Klipsch that’s very powerful and fills our large room nicely. I gave them a listen at the store and the ProCinema definitely sounded better than going to the alternative “Soundbar”. I bought them, set them up and to my surprise the sound is very open, dimensional, very smooth and rich on the bass, even at higher volumes. The monitors are very well built and feel solid. The Subwoofer is light but feels solid as well, definitely can’t say enough good things about this system. I use a Yamaha RX-V371 and crossover at 120hz Subwoofer volume is at around 1-2 o clock in my room and is plenty without bottoming out.

I love the sound! I mostly game on them, and they sound fantastic! A ton of bass too, for such a small subwoofer. I have a small room, so that probably helps. You might need a bigger sub or speakers for a larger room. But still great no matter what!

I have had these for over a month now and they sound great. No issues with the sub like others are having. I wired everything the traditional way, not the way through the sub that was suggested. I placed a small rug underneath the sub to keep it in place. It likes to move when it gets going.

My living space is small so I was looking for a quality speaker system when the volume wasn't turned up too high. The Home theater works very well. Besides the lengthy setup and having to buy additional equipment, the process of setting up went smoothly. The final product sound is great. Get the app that goes with the product. It makes the setup so much easier. I would recommend this product for smaller areas. The sound is very clear.
