For the price this sub puts out a lot of thump.

Great product. I would have given it a 5 if it had more range in the volume control. A minor issue, otherwise the product is excellent.

I added this sub to go along with my Definitive Soundbar - it makes all the difference in the world! Watching movies at home has never been better. For the price and the size of this sub, it packs a serious punch. Very happy with my decision to go with Definitive.

I've been looking to replace my old Klipsch sub that finally died. I'd been given a personal recommendation, and listened to Definitive Tech's SuperCube at a friend's house. When it went on sale- I made my move, and I'm not sorry at all. Yes- they are a little pricey, but the sale softened the blow a little bit. For the size of this sub- you can't beat it.

Definitive technology has come up with a outside of the box, box. Instead of a larger (10", 12", 15", 18") speaker and bigger cabinet, the super cube is a smaller long throw speaker to compensate air movement. There is desent low end, but unfortunately with the long throw you lose that punch response time. There is also lag of the bass kicking in when watching your favorite movies and shows. I think for a 10' X 15' room with an 8 foot ceiling, this would be a great speaker. For the price point I would spend a little more for a 15" speaker

I bought a Supercube 2000 Jan 2012 and less than 30 days later, I had to take it back to Best Buy because it was distorting the sound. They replaced it, and a year and a half later, it was completely dead. Since I paid for the extended warranty, GeekSquad sent it off for repair. One month later, it was back and working. Now, it's dead again. I have a Energy ES-10 sub that is 20 years old and still works. When the sc2000 was working, it was great for for my limited space but, I will never buy anything else from definitive technology.
