This is a nice lightweight laptop with the flexibility to act like a notepad for various applications. With about eight hours to load my work of data backups and applications, it is making a good traveling work station AND a very nice pad-tent for movies in the hotel room.
I also like the touch screen that is well designed to work with even my older apps. Windows 10 beats Windows 8.1 for this touch screen making it a sweet touch platform.
A clearly thumbs up product.

I'm enjoying my laptop/tablet. It is versatile and portable. 13.3 is the perfect size for me not too cumbersome or too small. The laptop is pefectly suited for Windows 10. Excellent piece of craftsmanship by Dell. The i5 processor is plenty quick enough. I got a case and screen protector. I apparently got my Dell just in time as when I went back the Best Buy did not have it in stock but other sizes were being sold like the 15.9.

And I Absolutely am in love with this laptop. Once getting it set up as my own as in display setting etc. It is a fast little machine. Back-lit keyboard, very sharp/crisp display with plenty of HDD space. Do recommend.

Great Deal on my Dell 2-in-1 from Best Buy

I bought this 2-in-1 for my wife, although she is not very tech savvy, I wanted to get her an upgrade from her old Gateway Win 7 Laptop. She loves it! Some great points: battery life is very close to the 8 hr rating, light weight, touch screen - excellent, Win 10, and speed - can't beat the 5th gen I5. An SSD would have been nice, but wow after having used it for over a month maybe it is not really necessary. I think this was a great buy not coming from Dell and I got a free AV - a nice bonus.

I purchased this laptop after my Asus laptop breaking unexpectedly and I have to say, I'm so glad I chose this one. I was a bit sceptical about buying a 2-in-1 because, i mean, who uses a laptop as a tablet? I already have a tablet so I dont use this in tablet mode. Anyway, this laptop is very fast and everything works smoothly. Onedrive automatically syncs everything, and the initial set up was very quick and I was surprised! I loved that there was not very many pre-installed junk software like other brands do (I'm looking at you, Acer). I love the backlit keyboard. Battery save mode is great. I go out to work and I can use a lot of applications and it lasts for hours. It's really light and I'm able to cycle with it in my backpack for 20 minues and not get tired.
The only problem I've encountered after having it for a week is that when I used skype, the mic was too quiet. I'm considering buying a headphone...

I got this laptop for my wife. She really liked it. I have a macbook pro and even I like the machine. The keyboard layout is very similar to a macbook pro, so I find it very easy to type. The machine is very fast (an SSD could have made it faster, but that will cost ~200$ more). The only concern is the trackpad, which is not the best, but not unusable. I will get a mouse if my wife starts doing something which requires precision.

Great Computer

I've only had this computer for about 2 months, but I love it so far. It's easy to use with Windows 10 and I like it way better than the Lenovo laptops I use at work. Easy to type on the keyboard. Love the metal feel. The touch pad on this laptop has taken me a little while to get used to. There are many different ways to swipe your finger for different results and some you have to do in a certain area on the touch pad. The screen resolution and sensitivity to touch is great. My only BIG complaint is that there's a sound card issue (maybe a problem with sound card and W10?) and there's no fix yet. When watching a movie or listening to music, any sound, the volume will drop dramatically for about 2 seconds and then return to normal. Really annoying in the middle of an action scene. It happens maybe 5 times during a movie. Otherwise, W10 and this computer are very customizable, so you can make it look/work the way you want.

I like the size and flexibility of this computer. I also like the touchscreen. I still have not figured out all of the Windows 10 features, or the Tablet features, but that is more a function of the user than the device. I also like the long battery life. I have owned several Dells so decided to go with Dell again rather than another brand. I am satisfied so far.

I needed a new laptop for college and didn't want to spend a lot. I started out buying a cheaper HP for maybe 399.00 it ended up being too slow and I had trouble keeping it connected to my internet. So that is how I ended up with my Dell, and I am SO glad I did. I obviously had to spend a little more money but it was so worth it. I haven't had one single issue. It's fast and reliable. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Compared to all the other 2n1 ultrabooks with similar specs this model can not be beaten for the price. Great build quality, good screen and great performance with an i5. I switched out the hard drive for a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and this laptop flys now. Upgrading the hard drive to an SSD also gave me more than an hour of extra battery life. My only complaints are that you can't upgrade the RAM on this past 8GB because it only has one dim slot and I wish the screen brightness could go a bit brighter for better outdoor use. The screen's colors are great and and brightness is good but for outside use It really needs to be able to go a bit brighter to make it great. This laptop is the best bang for your buck option with great build quality and if, or when, you can afford it you can always upgrade the hard drive to an SSD to make this bad boy scream.

Very nice machine but for this price at this moment (Nov 2015) ACER equivalent is furnished with SSD and is probably better choice (granted, display surface is slightly smaller in ACER). Otherwise it is lightweight slick machine with very convenient touch screen capability.

Brought this baby for like $500 open box and certified by geek squad. The guy who did the inspection didn't think it was in straight out of the box, brand new condition, so he marked it down. When I tell you he must have the highest standards... He took it out of the box and I was waiting to see the computer a little beat up. No! Nope! Nothing! Literally had a few dust particles from the box it was in. Usage: my old compaq presario f700 finally died on me so I needed a replacement. This computer definitely exceeded my expectations. Took some time to get used to Windows 10 and one of the first things I did was uninstall McAfee (don't get me started). Other than that, smooth sailing. I use it for personal use. No school or work. Very user friendly, portable, fast, enough space, and up to date on modern technology! I do want to add that I'm not tech knowledgeable, so I did A LOT of research and comparing different computers. Went in stores and played around. I want my money to go on good quality stuff. At first, I was a little sketchy about buying a Dell, so I also brought the protection plan. I think technology likes to break right after the warranty is up but that's just me. At least I'm covered. Overall, I'm one happy customer

Great compact laptop with touch screen. Bought this to use for home consulting business; hooks up nicely to keyboard and larger screen to work on bigger/longer documents, but then can disconnect and take it with me to meetings, etc. Touch screen works great. But when typing directly on the laptop, seems to be super sensitive to hand pressure and jumps cursor around and I end up typing over information in some other part of the document. That's frustrating because I have to pay constant attention to what's happening on the screen. Otherwise functioning great.

Windows 10 is pretty good. I was scared to try it. It is basically windows 8 with bugs fixed. There is a start button that allows you hit buttons that only a touch screen can give you. Hardware is very light. It is a Dell so I trust it.

First off, I have only been using this as a laptop for the past few days. I really don't need to use it as a 2 in 1, but maybe I will at some point. It's a little smaller than I'm used to, which is 15.6 inch screen, but I knew this when I was buying it. No complaints about the screen at all. It is pretty awesome, actually, with bright colors and vivid display. It's pretty fast as well, which is something I was in desperate need of since my last laptop was slower than Christmas. It opens things relatively quickly, which I'm not used to, so I love that! It took me a little time to get used to the keyboard, but I really like its lay out and how its back-lit. My only complaint about it is that it gets really hot really fast. The fan is also a little loud when it gets too hot. You just have to be sure not to block the ventilation on the back of the bottom/keyboard part. Now that I know this, I keep it from getting blocked and I haven't had any major heat issues since. Overall, I really like it and would highly recommend it!

I had been putting up with a dying netbook for way too long and went in to buy a touchscreen of the 13" variety. The netbook was a little small at 10", but I can't stand larger 15" or 17" laptops. At 13" it really falls into a great size. It came with Windows 10 which has impressed me so far (hopefully will continue to impress me as long as they don't start charging). Everything about it was so good for the price. The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is that after a day or two I remembered having another laptop with a similar coating/texture to it that was a real pain when it started coming off. Most people probably don't keep computers long enough for that to happen and most likely they've improved their formula, but only time will tell. Buy it.

I am very satisfied with this laptop. It has performed flawlessly since I have been using it. The display is crystal clear and the battery life is great. The touch screen option, bluetooth capability, and backlit keyboard is very nice. This laptop is not too small, not too big... just right! I would recommend it for anyone who needs a reliable but compact powerhouse!

Great deal on a I5 Dell 2-in-1 convertible laptop. Loved that it had Windows 10 pre-installed. Purchased for daughter for school instead of lugging around heavy laptop. Setup was easy and up and running in no time at all.

I bought this laptop about 3 weeks ago and so far I am satisfied. I bought it for school as my old laptop was completely out of date. It is easy to use and lightweight. I am interested in seeing how much easier school work will be with an updated computer. The only downside is it doesn't have a CD-ROM drive. I have a few things that I won't be able to use but I guess that's just what happens when you try to combine new technology with slightly older technology. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
