This monitor has great resolution, astonishingly thin, has 2 HDMI ports. The display is crispy clear with both my windows laptop and macbook. The power cord is same as Dell laptop charger. The stand was already attached to the monitor, so I only had to unwrap it. Loving it so far.

Best Monitor I've Ever Owned!

Can't say enough how much I've loved using this Monitor! If you are looking, it's 100% worth the money and you will be very happy.
PROS:
- The look and design of the monitor is gorgeous. Very thin/sleek and the matte-like silver on it makes it look very modern.
- The thin bezels on this are incredible! They really nailed the infinity type look of this monitor.
- Functionally, it does not skip a beat. No lag on my computer work, movies, or gaming. Really you could use this as a TV and it would work great.
- The Two HDMI inputs is a great piece so you can switch from using a laptop to a desktop or gaming console. It even auto-identifies what device is on and uses that input.
- I have been using this with my Nintendo Switch and it has worked phenomenally. Just have to use headphones is all.
- It compliments my gaming desktop tower really well! Works smoothly and is easy to read emails/news on or watch videos.
- The HDR component makes images really pop. Although, you have to dive into the settings to turn it all on.
CONS:
- No speakers. This is fine for me as it makes it thinner but some people might desire them.
- There are no mounts on the back or even an option to take the stand off. Makes it look more elegant and modern but you just could never mount it.

This monitor fulfilled my expectations! It looks great on my desk and has a great picture. The bezel-less design looks great as well, it’s one of the best I’ve found for this price point.

Amazing Monitor!

Out of the box wow factor. After a few minor adjustments, this monitor packs quite the picture quality. I was amazed how clear and crisp the colors were. I know it’s just a monitor, but the setup was super easy. Plug in power cord, connect HDMI cable and there you go! Buttons are on the bottom right of the monitor. Adjust the settings to your desire and you’ll be pleased with the picture. The refresh rate is 60Hz, which for a computer isn’t too bad.
Pros:
Lightweight
Quality
2 HDMI capable
Adjustable base
Thin frame
Cons:
No speakers – Not a deal breaker.
Overall – I highly recommend this! At the price, it offers a great quality picture.

My initial reaction to placing this monitor on my desk and hooking it up was how amazingly bright and crisp the display is. For reading code, text, and documents, it is very easy on the eyes, and it will make a good companion to my iMac 27" monitor. Attached to a Nvidia GT1030 video card provided better performance with Minecraft, No Mans Sky, and Civ V, than I originally expected. I felt that if I had a better performance video card, this monitor would easily have been able to handle it. That being said, my personal opinion is that this would be best served as a monitor for a stockbroker, programmer, writer, or anyone who needed multiple displays on a single monitor. The anti-glare coating makes this a great monitor for locations that have a lot of windows or lighting behind the user. Too bad I can't just fold this up and stick it in my backpack.
The menu controls are very intuitive and I was able to adjust the settings to fit my needs without referencing any documentation. While the monitor itself IS very thin at 1.14 inches, the base extends another 4 inches. Hey Dell, if you're going to tout this as an ultra-thin monitor, at least provide a way to shift it closer to the back of the monitor base. While speaking of the base - the monitor can be tilted, but not swiveled or rotated.
There are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio port, but nothing else. I do appreciate having the audio port in a convenient spot without having to plug speakers into the back of the computer itself.
Movies and videos looked amazing on this monitor and I didn't notice any ghosting.
Overall, I get the feeling that Dell intended this monitor for use in a business or high productivity environment. I'm certainly considering making this my primary monitor for software development and technical writing needs. However, I am taking a star off for the lack of mobility in the base design.

Having only ever used LED/LCD tv's as pc monitors this Dell QHD was a real eye opener for me.
The design is sleek and classy making it a looker whether it's on or off. Colors really pop and the details are incredible! This thing makes me want to go out and buy some 4k movies! The dual HDMI connections will let me connect both my pc and home security camera system to the same monitor. Controls on the bottom edge of the monitor took some getting used to but is easy to use.
If your in the market for a QHD monitor this Dell 27" offers a sleek design and a great screen that has to be on your list and in my opinion it should be at the Top!

Sleek, stylish and a great picture. Display is crisp and although not true UHD, it’s about as good as you can get without significantly increasing the price. 60Hz refresh rate might disappoint serious gamers but then again, this isn’t a $1000 monitor. You’d be very hard-pressed to find a better monitor in the sub-$400 price range.

Beautiful 1440p dell monitor

I love this little (big) dell 27 inch 2k monitor for real. I’m coming for a 1080p all in one and I thought that screen was nice. But this one blows that one out of water. Not just because it’s 1440p but because of the higher brightness rating and ips. It’s just soo sharp and crisp. Also the design is super slim. I get compliments all the time. Just looks high end. This has 2 hdmi and I believe a port to be controlled by a dell to automatically turn the monitor on. I have yet to get that wire. I’m learning. But overall this is a beautiful screen. I find my self watching more videos on YouTube and gaming a bit more now that I have a nice monitor. They did very well with this monitor. Now there is one thing that may be a bother to some. And that’s the fact that this monitor doesn’t have built in speakers. Which since I’m newer to the stand alone monitor game, this might be the norm. Lol. I have studio monitors anyhow. So doesn’t effect me one bit.
Highly recommend at this price point.

Excellent monitor (especially when it's on sale)

My main preferred monitor for daily work use is still my 2010 Apple 27" Cinema Display, which has always felt like the perfect balance of screen size, on screen real estate, and the "comfortableness" of the content on the screen at its native resolution. But this Dell panel is the same size and resolution (2560 x 1440), and it's IPS, so it shares all of those great qualities, and it's my "backup" monitor now (the one I have at home and the one on the market I would buy today if my Apple died). I'm sure there are better, fancier monitors out there, but for the price this is, I think, one of the best options out there for most people (especially when it's on sale, which it often is at Best Buy).
The biggest con for me is the antiglare coating, which (as with any monitor), produces that slight "fuzzy rainbow" effect — but I understand that many people prefer that to the glossy look of the Apple monitor (I'd take the deeper, richer colors any day of the week). Also, it only has two HDMI ports (fine for my needs, but not for everyone), and the stand height is not adjustable (nor is it rotatable, etc.).

Beautiful and Stylish Monitor

This is a beautiful and stylish monitor, quality is great with some minor issues.... I had to return mine a couple of times because the bottom plate in the screen was loose and it looked off....
After I got a monitor without issues I have to say I'm extremely happy with it! The Pro's ... It's super thin, something I needed and it looks good with my Macbook Pro. I didn't want to spend thousands on an Apple branded Monitor and found this one that works perfectly. Although it's not 4k it's pretty sharp & colors are great too.
On the downside it is missing USB connectors and an Audio output... monitor only tilts... doesn't go up/down like other Dell Monitors.. and you can't remove the base.... things to keep in mind if you are looking for those features...
Overall the monitor is beautifully designed, it's a clean & modern look that's easy on the eyes. It would have 5 stars if it included some USB connectors...

Only thing I would change is permanent stand. The picture quality is gorgeous. I had my old screen mounted on an arm so I could move it out of the way when I need to or aim it towards my bed whenever I want to watch something. This monitor comes with a tilt stand built in. No VESA mounting options. I plan on 3D printing a bracket with VESA mount points for it so I could attach it to the arm.

Great Monitor, Great Color

If you're looking for a good quality monitor with great color, but not 4k, then this is a great choice. Color is the most important thing for me over the 4k ability and this monitor was one of the best at it's price point. It's an even better value if you catch it on sale. This covers the sRGB spectrum and other pro reviews/test I've seen also state that it covers about 80% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. Great for editing/color correcting photos and online videos. After I got it set-up, I ran a professional color calibration on it and it was actually close to perfect out of the box. Which it's one of the closest I've ever seen, especially at this price point. If you're looking for a great monitor with quality, accurate, even color on a budget, I would highly recommend this monitor.

IPs glow of the unit I got was within tolerance Limit. Switching into hDr for movies took a bit longer than I liked, realized it was longer once I could compare the speed to lg 27gn850. I would have crept this monitor if it had VESA mount. brightness in hdr mode was insane

Right out of the box, I knew this monitor was going to be a good one. I've been really getting into Photography and video editing and wanted a better monitor without spending a small fortune. After a lot of research, I bought this one and it really does rock. The colors really pop and it having the HDR is really nice.

I bought two of these monitors to have dual screens and they are amazing. I am a college student and use these for multitasking, I watch stocks, youtube, and do homework. The color pops and the brightness is awesome. Also, the look of this monitor is the best, very professional looking. My favorite part about them is that the bezels are so thin, very minimal branding and two HDMIs. Images and articles are crisp. Also, the monitors auto recognize when something is plugged into them so you don't have to hit the source button and switch between devices. I also use them to console game and they are good, but I've seen better for gaming. Very good build quality too.

I really love this monitor. I was looking for something bigger than my previous 23" monitor since I use a lot of applications at one time and found this Dell S2719DM QHD (Quad HD = 4x sharper than 720p) monitor. I knew I'd need increased resolution if I wanted to step up to a bigger size, e.g., 27", and this monitor was right on target for: size, response time, resolution, speed, wide angle (up to 178 degrees) since I sit fairly close to the monitor when working. Colors are vibrant, and the image is top-notch for this class of monitor.
This monitor has it all, and I'm extremely happy with it!
