No screwdrivers or anything needed to connect the base to the monitor; it clips right in after you attach the bottom, also no screwdriver needed.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially skeptical about using a VA panel, since my main productivity monitor that I use is an IPS, but I really want a high refresh rate monitor. tl;dr My concerns were unfounded! This monitor has really good colours. I don't have all the fancy nonsense to measure it and whatnot, but I'm just basing it off my eyes, when I run the same episode of The Office on both monitors, and sync the timings up nicely, and dart my eyes back and forth between my IPS monitor and this one. Both are indistinguishable. The curve also makes viewing content slightly more pleasing. Overall, VERY GLAD I bought this monitor, and I got Price-Matched by Best Buy based on a price I found on Dell US Online Store. Amazing deal for $224.99! This monitor also natively picks up the 144hz option. I didn't need to dive into the Display Settings -> Advanced Display etc..
