The only negative is the lack of reflection prevention, but overall isn't that detrimental.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Here is the good part The monitor comes with a small sheet of paper with diagrams of how to assemble the stand and attach it to the monitor. It was good enough for me to put it together with no problems. The stand is very well made and the best I have seen over the years. I didn't see any diagrams in Spanish or Japanese, but I don't think that will be a problem.:)) And a small HDMI cable was included. Now for the not so good part. I also bought a Geforce RTX2060 video card so I installed the card and attached the monitor at the same time. When I powered up my PC, it started booting just fine. When I went to power up the monitor, I was lost. A Users Guide or a Quick start guide or any other documentation does not come with the monitor. I found 5 buttons on the back of the monitor. Pushing any of the buttons did nothing. Luckily I have another PC and Google came to the rescue. The power button is on the bottom but very difficult to see or feel unless you already know where it is. So now with the monitor powered up, I looked at the screen and was not impressed at all. Everything looked the same as the old Acer monitor I replaced. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the monitor and video card. It did not make any difference. There is a program Dell Display Manager that Dell encourages you to install. I was able to install and uninstall it 3 times with no problems. It installs fine with no errors, but just does not run. Maybe there is a setting in there that will change the way the screen looks. The NVIDIA video card I bought also has the Nvidia Control Panel Program that might have something to help. It will take quite awhile to go through those programs due to the amount of options they have. This is going to be tough since I don't really know anything about configuring the monitor or video card. Unless I can find something fairly quickly, I will be returning the monitor to Best Buy. I gave it 2 stars because of the stand and I like the looks of the monitor. If I can ever get the screen to look better I will come back and change the rating.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the monitor is not meeting expectations and apologize for the inconvenience. Provided below are instructions on testing your monitor for errors. We recommend you perform this procedure to determine if there are any errors with your display.
1. Make sure that the monitor screen is clean (no dust particles on the surface of the screen).
2. Unplug the video cable(s) from the back of the Dell monitor and the PC. The Dell monitor should now enter self-test mode.
3. Press and hold either the menu or power button for 5 seconds. A gray screen should appear.
4. Carefully inspect the screen for abnormalities.
5. Press the button again. The color of the screen should now change to red.
6. Inspect the screen for any abnormalities.
7. Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 to inspect the screen in green, blue, black, white and text screens.
8. The test is complete when the white screen appears.
9. Press the button to exit the built-in self test diagnostics.
If you do notice any abnormalities in the built-in self test mode, you may get the monitor repaired/replaced if it is under warranty by contacting Dell Technical Support. Regardless, you are more than welcome to reach out for further assistance. Hope this helps!
