My first curved monitor and honestly it has been wonderful, to start things off i had been using a tv for a monitor for a long time so when i first set it up i was so confused why the sound wasn’t working, i sat there for an hour updating my sound driver and rolling it back and adjusting the quality and trying to reset my computer multiple times well this monitor does not have speakers built into it, which i guess i should have known because it’s a monitor not a tv, I instantly regretted not purchasing a second one a week later because everything looks so good on it, the stand is suuper easy to put on and everything is ready out of the box, i think the coolest thing about it is that there is a joystick like control for the settings which also confused me, but is a really awesome space saving feature, when i browse amazon and other online shopping platforms everything moves so fast i have to pause for my eyes to catch up this monitor is fast fast, great for FPS games and honestly i feel like i’ve gotten even better at getting headshots in games because of the minimal latency and the fact that this monitor has awesome clarity, i’d say if you’re looking for. relatively cheap monitor that has that fancy curve everyone is going for these days then you e found the right out but that’s my opinion, try it out if you want who am i to tell you what to do

I forst bought this monitor at full price, then i saw the Black Friday deal and because how much I loved this monitor, I waited a whole year(Black Friday) to get another! The quality and graphics that this monitor resembles based off of what you’re importing whether it be a game, photos or videos, is beyond phenomenal! If those are soem things that you do, this monitor is for you!

We bought this monitor for a better gaming experience and the volume does not work. Is was brand new.

What an awesome monitor. I hooked it up to an Alienware gaming desktop with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX2070. I think it is very aesthetic with a small desk footprint. The subtle curve is really nice looking. It offers good field of view and there's no reflection or glare from it. I like the look of no bevel on the three sides but I wish the display actually went to the edge. When the monitor is on there's a black frame around the outside. Performance wise I think it does excellent. I have 4K TVs all around the house and when I pulled up a movie to watch on here I couldn't believe it was only 1080p. The picture looked so crisp and dynamic. The action scenes were smooth and there was no banding with dark scenes. Gaming echoed the same performance. I played Diablo III which looked as good as that game can look. Movement was pretty smooth. Also I played Destiny 2 which had some better graphics and a lot more action. The monitor did a good job keeping up with my character. Finally I tried EVE Online which just had fantastic graphics to it. It really did give you an immersive experience. I like how it comes with two HDMI ports so you can switch over and play Xbox. It is also convenient for that that there is a headphone jack on the monitor. I don't think that is it big enough to play split screen really though. But it's about the right size to be productive with multiple windows. I would recommend getting this for gaming and daily work.

Ordered and it came with a huge dead pixel line in the middle of the screen, I used it only for three hours.

The playing games were slow. The motion on the monitor was lagging. The display sucks.

The Dell S2721HGF curved gaming monitor comes very well packaged in a large sturdy box. Included is a HDMI cable, power cord, stand and a quick start sheet. The monitor was very easy to set up, just connect the base to the stand and stand to monitor. Connect it to your computer, plug it in and you are ready to go. The stand is very well designed. It tilts in and I love the ability to glide it effortlessly up and down when needed. Even though this is a large monitor and stand I appreciate that it only weighs nine pounds, making it easy to move around from one area to another fairly easily. The display is extraordinarily immersive with the screen curving in about 1” in the middle. This is the first time I’ve used a curved screen monitor and it really does make a difference. The game feels more immersive and I feel like I see the whole screen much better. I’ve used this monitor for other non-gaming tasks as well. Movies look amazing and working on a huge spreadsheet is much easier when using a curved screen that enhances field of vision and reduces distortion, glare and reflection. Almost all the settings on this monitor are customizable and adjustable including the brightness, and it can get very bright! The VA/LED panel with a 3000:1 contrast ratio provides amazingly deep and almost 3D like contrast with deeper blacks, brighter whites and more shades between. This monitor has NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible certification and AMD FreeSync premium technology which noticeably reduces distortions like screen tearing, stutters and lag for fluid gameplay and a detailed image. I’m extremely happy that I got this curved gaming monitor and highly recommend it to any gamer looking to take another step into the game.

This sleek and ultra modern looking Dell monitor (model S2721HGF) is marketed as a gaming monitor, rated at 144 HZ. It has AMD Free-Sync Premium which is designed to ensure smooth on-screen operation/action which works by synchronizing the display’s refresh rate to its GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. This monitor will give gamers a great experience. The unit operated smoothly with no visible stuttering. My monitor was coupled with an HP Omen AMD Ryzen 5 series gaming tower. I had nothing but smooth sailing with all of the games that I played. Viewing results were always reliable. This is the first monitor I've owned which has a curved screen. I was skeptical at first, but after using it for several days, I was hooked. I had the feeling of being encapsulated in whatever I was seeing on the screen. It gave me a super nice feeling during use. This monitor has an adjustable stand enabling the user to position the screens viewing area in virtually any position needed. It adjusts both up and down, and it can tilt front to back. As with most monitors, adjusting to the best viewing angle is paramount, otherwise what you wind up with are colors that lackluster and are unclear. The power button is located on the bottom right hand side. I found that turning the power on and off was a bit of a challenge as the button is flush with the panel. I had to use my fingernail to power the monitor on or off. If I used my fingertip to power on or off, I needed to exert some pressure with my other hand while holding the top of the monitor to preclude it from moving on my desk. Ideally a larger power button should have been in the monitors build, which is more easily found, and an easier "push touch" force to power the monitor on or off. There is no included manual with this product, and you can download a copy directly from the manufacturer by visiting their web site. I also enjoy a hardcopy of a manual in lieu of a downloaded copy, my pet peeve I guess. Overall, I was pretty happy with this Dell monitor. The curved screen is really awesome, and it gives you the sense of "pulling" you into the screen! Its a really nice feeling to be drawn in! It operated smoothly, and handled all of my games with ease. Displayed screen colors were crisp, sharp and vivid. An awesome experience is in store for its owners.

As an avid gamer I was super stoked to get to test out this Dell Curved Gaming Monitor. I already own another higher end in the field different branded traditional monitor and have an exceedingly high bar to meet with respect towards gaming monitor. This Dell did not disappoint! Out of the box the monitor weights about eighteen pounds and was extremely easy to assemble. The design is pleasing, and the sleek curve is quite the attention getter as the centerpiece for my desk. There are a ton of display adjustments that are easily controlled with the monitors buttons. From there it was off to the races... Literally, I first played a popular racing game (Forza on XBOX) and then a bit of COD WZ (on PC with a NVIDIA GTX 1650) for several hours and I immediately noticed the luxury of having a curved screen. I honestly thought the "Curve" was out since the TV fad is basically over, but I now know that having a curved monitor is where it is at for gaming or should I say us gamers. The eye strain was almost nonexistent, and the field of view really does feel larger. The frame rate refresh was perfect with the NVIDIA, meaning absolutely undetectable even at the high speeds of the racing game. With COD I felt like I had a FOV advantage since my eyes where not bouncing all over the screen and they were able to stay center focused but still able to see all the screen. However, the beautiful and vibrant colors are what has sold me and made this my go to, even over my other monitor. The 16.7 million color screen feels like this simulated world is right there for you. I have ZERO complaints or negative comments about this monitor. Everything one would want out of a gaming (strike that) ANY monitor.

I was very excited to receive this monitor, I really like the size of the screen and the curve is surprisingly useful. I wish it had higher resolution, once you get above about 22", any monitor at FHD is just too large and the pixels really show at normal viewing distance. I have a flat 27" 2K monitor also and it is much easier on the eyes, despite lacking the curved screen. Speaking of the curved screen, I really thought it would take a while to get used to it, but it was almost immediately comfortable. With a screen this size, it does require a bit of back and forth at times and the curve allows things to be in focus much more easily from your peripheral view. I'm thinking even one of those 34" curved screens would be great now that I've used this one! The onscreen controls are great, thanks to a hat switch on the back of the bezel, instead of just a bunch of buttons. I found it much easier to adjust things and control what I was doing. This should be standard on ALL monitors from now on! There are enough adjustments to keep a picky person busy for quite some time if they want. The adjustable height is a real benefit as well, allowing the monitor to go up and down as well as tilt the top forward and back to make viewing even easier. Several monitor manufacturers have done this type of stand over the years and they are really worth a couple extra dollars for the convenience. It just makes things that much easier to use and work with. I have used this monitor on a couple of different machines, and the quality is definitely there. If I had it to do over, I would really have to take a hard look at the higher resolution model - except for the huge price increase! It would be hard to justify moving that far up just to add the pixels, but I think that would make this a pretty much perfect screen for any use. Though it is designed as a gaming monitor, I use it for more than just games. It is a decent second monitor as well, as long as you understand that the resolution is the limiting factor. If you can find it on sale, this would make a great monitor if you can place it a bit farther back than you would normally put your monitor. I could see this working great for a two or three monitor gaming setup on a corner desk with lots of space. The wrap-around environment created by several of these monitors could be amazing! I certainly don't want to knock the quality of the design, ease of connections and the great layout of the controls. If you need only FHD resolutions, this is a great monitor for any computer use.

You can't go wrong with this 27" Dell Gaming monitor. With two HDMI ports, it's possible to switch between HDMI sources with ease. In my situation, I've included this monitor with a separate HDMI hub allowing my PC to have a multi-monitor setup. In this setup, the curved screen actually complements the setup. It certainly doesn't get in the way in the slightest (I've had such concerns in the past with monitors). The on-panel firmware is also human-friendly. In a matter of seconds, the monitor will let you know if your video source is enabled and active, as well as if not -- there is no guessing here. The nearly bezel-less design also allows corner-to-corner viewing of whatever content you want to throw to the screen. All pixels are active with no bleed and a crisp picture. If you're interested in getting a great monitor, consider the 27" Dell Gaming monitor. It's great for games and more, and you don't have to get matching Dell equipment, either!

Dell’s newest curved 27-inch 1080p monitor is a clear (pun intended) winner for its price point. Monitor is crisp and colors are spot on at default. Initial settings can be adjusted via an on-screen menu selected by the controls located on the back lower right when looking into the screen. Screen refresh @144 hz I experienced no screen tearing while gaming during various games including the newest Microsoft Flight Simulator which looked great on this monitor. For that matter, all displayed programs looked great. This would be superb in a 2 or 3 monitor side by side configuration due to it’s all but invisible bezel and at this price point you could almost get three for the same price as some others with similar specs. You just have to remember it’s only a 1080p monitor.

Just bought this gaming monitor today, this thing is gorgeous even though I came from a 32 inch 1440p monitor. I'm only having one issue though, something that either Dell or Nvidia needs to fix. Of course I plugged it in using a Display Port into my RTX 2070 and as soon as I had G-sync enabled I started getting white flickering when I started gaming. This is my third G-Sync monitor and this never happened before, but I just learned this monitor was originally a Freesync only monitor that had the G-sync update not too long ago. I basically tried every solution to get rid of the flickering so I basically gave up and just turned off G-sync which hasn't been bad. Just wanted to make a post on here to see if anyone else is having the same issue and if there is going to be a future nvidia update, if a Dell rep sees this please reply back I want to know if anything can be done.

This monitor delivers when it comes to picture quality & response time. Hooked it up to my Dell G5 gaming laptop with zero issues (plug & play) and all of my Steam games play just fine. I have some really old star wars games on discs and (when using an usb Blu-Ray optical drive) this monitor handles them easily with no seen rendering issues. Sleek design is sharp to look at and the curved monitor really helps me when I’m gaming as it allows me to see what’s happening in my peripheral view. Let’s talk about the cool factor that comes with this monitor. Just sitting on my desk alone it’s an awesome conversation piece and goes well with my house decorations/color!! Just awesome all around!!

Picked up this gaming monitor as I wanted a decreased footprint from my Samsung O-Led 30 inch. Now, I made a mistake. This is a TN panel. TN panels are automatically going to be slightly washed out with color. I was able to calibrate my graphics card to offset it and so far, I am really happy with this monitor. It’s lighter, I love its adjustability, and it has a 144Hz refresh rate, making it super-fast. I’ve played a few games on it and there is no motion blur on it. It is Nvidia G-Sync compatible, and so is my graphics card, and it makes an affordable gaming monitor. The bezel is certainly slimmer and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I certainly love using it for my work during the day as well.
