I have researched a good espresso machine for under $100 for a while and this always comes up. Then, I googled it and everyone seems to like it so I decided to try it myself. OMG! The espresso that it makes is awesome with the Crema and the foam. I don't use the frother much because it is easier to put the milk in the microwave for 1 minute to get the same result, then I just add the espresso made with this genius machine and have myself a great cappuccino. FYI: I have 2 Keurig that I do not use anymore and Nespresso machine which I like but you have to have the special coffee for it. With this machine, you can use any espresso you like and I am using Lavazza.. Just wonderful!

We have had this Espresso maker for a couple of months now. It makes really good espresso!
You have to wait 10-15 minutes for the machine to warm up, even though the light comes on a lot sooner than that, you have to wait, for it to be really hot.

This is my first espresso machine so I can't compare it to anything else. But the espresso's I have been getting are great. Milk steamer works good and the espresso's have a good creme on them.

I bought this espresso maker for my daughter. There are so many choices, it confused me. However, I came to learn that this brand was very well received by coffee and espresso enthusiasts. I gave this espresso machine to her and a week later, she called me and said the following: It was easy to use, make very good espresso and it took up only a minimal amount of space on the counters. I could have purchased other, more expensive espresso machines and may not have had a different reaction than this, far less expensive choice!! I am happy with my choice, because she is happy. I would recommend this machine to anybody that is cost conscious and still wanting a great cup of coffee or espresso.

I love this espresso machine! It is smaller than most and fits on my counter without taking up much space. It is so easy to use and makes a great espresso and cappuccino. What I like most about it is that you can use real coffee in it, not just pods. I generally use real coffee grounds, but I do have the pods and occasionally use the pods. I think the espresso tastes better with the coffee grounds Most machines use only pods. Also, the pods you use just have paper, not plastic, so I feel like there is less environmental impact. I can find the pods easily in the grocery store. It also froths the milk nicely. Great buy - easy - great espresso - economical!

I really like the espresso which this machine makes. It is easy to use. Two complaints, I had to remove a loose piece of plastic from the frothing tube which was left over from manufacturing. Once I removed it I was able to froth milk easily. The other issue I have is that it takes two runs to make the two cups of espresso. I have to let it warm up, run the pump, wait after the light goes off and run it again. Even if I make more than one set of shots in sequence I still have to follow this pattern.
These may be significant issues to others but I do not mind, especially for the price. Anything competitive to this in espresso quality is more than double the price.

Had some challenges getting it set up and started but eventually got it to work. I makes decent Espresso, but it shakes FAR FAR too much while in operation. I have it weighted down on the top of the machine with my pound of espresso coffee in a tupperware and that is the only way the espresso cup won't shale and slide off the bottom service shelf. For the money, this is a good value machine, but not something without significant flaws and for that reason I would not recommend it to someone else

Our beginners espresso machine broke ( Mr Espresso) and after we came back from our Italian vacation we wanted to keep enjoing our espressos and machiatto just like we did in Italy. We felt that we wanted to upgrade to a better machine without spending too much. I read several reviews and to me, the pros weighted more than the cons, so I decided to try it myself. My only con is that machine it is a little noisy, but once you fill out the water to its max capacity the sound diminishes. Most of the cons I read on other reviews are addressed on the instruction manual. The machine gives you a beautiful crema on your espresso. The machine is easy to clean and easy to operate. It only requires to read the instructions manual first, and there shouldn't be any issues. This is a great step between a begginers to a pro machinery. I am very happy with my purchase! Also remember, that the type of coffee bean and other factors influence on the quality of your espresso. :)

I bought this machine to replace a Breville I bought a decade ago that had a constantly hot, melting contact inside that I opened and repaired myself many times. Still I had liked it because it made me a great latte or espresso. It finally conked out beyond repair and I did not want to spend too much replacing it. I found this DeLonghi and after reading the reviews and watching a video review decided to try it. That was just over a month ago and after all the brews I have made for my wife and me with it, I am sure it has paid for itself at least once if I were paying with "Starbucks" at Starbucks or even McDonalds for a similar drink. The space underneath the spouts where the espresso drips out is rather low making the use of a short cup a necessity, and instead of using a small cup to catch it, I found a stainless steel metal measuring cup with a handle, ordered through Amazon Prime, that fits in the well perfectly below it, and is convenient for pouring the espresso into a mug or cup. After figuring out the way to use the controls I can now say this machine works twice as well as the previous machine I had, mentioned above, for half the cost, and twice as fast. In fact, it is early morning and I am going into the kitchen right now to make a rich, tasty, foamy espresso with some frothed, bubbly, naturally sweet milk on top! Sprinkles optional...

Had it a few months. Works great for me. Easy to use. Everyone says the frothing wand is short. It truly is. I haven't had an issue with the puck, mine hasn't been watery. Way, way better than my former one of the steam variety.
I will say that I bought a random on sale brand of espresso. It wras ok. Many reviews mentioned Lavazza so I gave that a try. Whoa. It tastes suspiciously more delicious. Seriously. Maybe the first brand was just junk but I won't know because I'm going to stick with Lavazza.

If you're a coffee/espresso enthusiast like me and are tired of spending $3-6/cup this machine will help your finances in the long run. I don't use the steamer option (milk frothing) because it's a mess that I don't like to clean up when I'm trying to get ready for work in the morning. It's a great option to have though when I can take my time with my drink on the weekends. Do your research before purchasing this machine so you know what to expect and won't be disappointed. Before buying this espresso machine I knew that: I needed to have special cups for espresso because regular cups will NOT fit, there is no automatic shut off so you need to watch it or it will overflow, the machine does vibrate A LOT so the cup will move if you're not holding it in place, for best tasting espresso go for Lavazza or Illy is the way to go. I tried a different brand that was half the price at HEB but it was absolutely horrible. I've used this machine daily for a little bit over a month now and I feel like I've already made my money back. Buy with confidence, you won't regret it.

This machine has 15 bars of power, makes a single or double espresso at a time, froths the milk quickly and easily for cappucchino and is value priced. I have purchased a total of 3 machines (different manufacturers) and this DeLonghi is a great, compact, powerful machine. Be aware that it does not include a metal frothing pitcher, but they are easily found and last forever!

This is a very good machine and has all the power of a larger machine in a small package. I use to make expresso, cappuccino, and frappuccino, and make several drinks each day. It provides the capability of making the drinks I would regularly get at Starbucks at home. The steam pipe works great and provides plenty of power for making drinks. With a little practice you quickly become proficient in using it. If you open the valve with the selector on drink mode it provides hot water for soup or tea. Over all quality is good, my machine gets a heavy workout continues to work trouble free. If you purchase on sale this machine will pay for itself very quickly.

This machine produces good quality espresso and latte/cappuccino. Good easy foaming action. Easy to make coffee and foaming milk.I just don't know if I have to warm it up for 45 minutes first each time or not. Costs much less than comparable machines. But this is the 2nd time I've purchased this machine because previous one conked out after 2 years and I couldn't get it repaired. Reminds me of my morning coffees in Italy.

After the first had leaking issues we returned and got another one. This time it worked as advertised and for the price, makes a decent espresso. It's a little finicky overall, but is worth the money if you aren't ready to spend over 500.00

This particular model is no better than their basic model. The handle is difficult to put on correctly. It's very tight to screw on, Also, there is a lot of vibration and the expresso cups move around. I have to watch it carefully so the cups stay aligned. Although it's pleasing to look at their $99 dollar model is just as good.
