Needed new unit for different room. Had 960 which worked great but saw upgrade at great price. May not be best unit out there but works for tv or music.

Awesome Denon unit for my home entertainment system.

The unit was SUPER simple to set up. I thought I was missing something hut no…..My system was transformed, this absolutely woke up my home theater. The atmos processing is amazing.

Needed to upgrade my receiver for my surround sound. Especially happy with the Bluetooth feature, as I can stream music from my phone.

Had it for 1 1/2 years no problems. Set up with Definitive speakers. Sounds amazing.

I wasn't familiar with the brand but I am extremely pleased. The extra surround from a normal 5.1 is well worth it for a better experience in sound.

Although I just purchased this item I am excited to begin to build my home stereo system with this receiver. It provides the ability to build up to a complete surround sound experience.

This receiver was a BIG upgrade for me; it's been fantastic so far. Works great for my new OLED TV and all my a/v components.

I haven’t installed yet, but I think it’s gonna work the way supposed if don’t work the way supposed and then I’m gonna return it

I upgraded from a 5.2 to a 7.2 receiver. I had a really hard time hookung up the tv to the receiver. I eventually figured ot out, but i thought it works have been much easier switching then out, but it wasn't. Helpful hint, use the HELP menus, it will tell you that's its not hooked up correctly and tell you what to look for. Anither recommendation is to use utube fir additional information. I love klipsch, but they need to prove more information on different connections because it works make the hookup less painful. Also, it shoukd be 7.1 because after i connected 5 celing soeakers and 2 standung klipsch soeakers, it only show 7.1 instead of 7.2.

sounds great and has all the features you need. great product with all the bang.

Overall a realy good reciever. I needed to set it up a couple of times after the initial setup. Sometimes it cuts to the main menu. That can be annoying. It does sound excelent through my klipsch speakers.

The Denon amp is a great addition for home theatre and works great

This receiver represents the upper end of Denon’s ‘consumer’ level units. Denon manufactures many units costing FAR more. I use it in a 5.1 setup consisting of BIC America speakers including a 12” powered subwoofer. Setting up modern AV receivers can be a bit complex. The Audessey process is pretty good, but, for me, resulted in a bit of a flat sound. Tweaking the bass and equalizer settings was required. I spent a lot of time reading expert recommendations. So far, I have found it to be an acceptable unit for the cost, even if I’m not wildly enthusiastic about it.

Great reciver, needed sometbing on the medium range for running a 3 channel system nothing to big, the 790 works great

This is the perfect solution for my basement home theater. I have a 4K projector, PS5 and Apple TV 4K, and I’m excited to play audio to its fullest potential.

Replaced a similar AVP with this one and it works just fine.

I needed to replace a Pioneer AV unit that was failing, and this fit the bill.

very nice for mid range speakers so go to best buy and get one your be happy
