We recently purchased this so we have an extra battery charged for our trips etc...

Would like it more if it would last longer, camera has a 8 GB memory and it would be desirable to match the battery life. Changing battery during recording not too fond of. Wish I was a better editor.

I have 3 of these batteries.Charge fast and last longer than any one shooting event. Small size and good power. Have not used in cold weather yet.

Very easy to use, charges fast and comes in handy when you forget to charge your other battery.

This battery works just fine in the Canon Camera I recently received. It charges quickly and lasts a long time when using the camera.

I took a trip to DC for the new year and realized when unpacked at the hotel that I left my battery and charger for my camera at home. I had the camera but no battery, ugh. I went to Best Buy and purchased this spare battery (and charger). For the price it's decent. It held a good charge for picture taking but seemed to drain faster when trying to record short video clips but I assume this is the same with any battery.

Today's casual photographer takes many more pics than your standard camera battery allows. Having a spare battery certainly does help. While this works great and does hold the charge, it's certainly not as powerful or long lasting as the original name brand one that came with my camera. That being said, I'm certainly glad that I had it available as my spare during my most recent trips.

I use my camera's on an almost daily basis, and find with shooting video clips eats the batteries up. I went looking for a cheaper battery to use and came across this gem. Cheaper than the brand specific battery, good (not excellent) battery life to get me through a photo shoot. Price wise you can buy 2 batteries for approximately equal price of one of the specific brand battery

great for spare battery. good price. works fine with the canon powershot.

I bought this battery a few years ago and, this was probably my own fault, but it stopped taking a charge and it expanded a little bit in the middle. I say it was my own fault because I left it on the charger way too long, way too often. Despite this, it DID last a lot of years, so I'd say it's pretty good. I'll not be making the same mistake with the new one.

am using in a Sony camera. this battery does not seem to be as common as others. have had trouble finding it in stock, only one row on shelf in store. does not last well if taking flash pictures, I keep my flash off to increase number of shots before changing. but, no flash means camera must be held steady or else, blurrrr. recommend two spares if you shoot a lot or will be out all day.

This came as part of a bundle deal I got when buying my camera at my local BestBuy. Had they not offered a package deal like that I still would have wanted to have an extra battery on hand. I've only had it long enough to put it through a few charge cycles, but so far the charge seems to last as long as the Canon battery that came with my camera.

These are high quality batteries and have their own chargers so you can always have spares ready to go if you do a lot of shooting and need to change batieries. My wife always has spares charged. These last quite long even when taking a lot of pictures.

Bought this battery to give my daughter a second rechargable battery for her digital camera. Was looking at first for the name brand battery to match her camera, but the store did not have a name brand battery available. The salesperson recommended this battery instead, and it has worked just fine.

You get what you pay for. The charge doesn't last as long as an OEM, but for the price diffference, I'm happy enough. It doesn't take long to charge, so I can always have a fresh battery to catch that PERFECT picture. Maybe someday, anyway

I haven't used the camera a lot but the battery has stayed strong for quite a while. I bought camera and charged the battery to try it out. A week later it was still a full battery. Went out of state on vacation for two weeks and took some pics still have a full battery.

Comes out of the packaging almost fully charged. Didn't take long after I installed in camera that it was fully charged and ready to go. Was able to take HUNDREDS of pictures without having to recharge.

This battery was a little pricey for me but overall its worth it because of the charge time/battery life. It charges fast and lasts a long time. I just wish the camera I purchased it for was better.

I bought this battery to have a backup battery for my camera. I used it on my trip to Hawaii and even though I took a large amount of pictures I still didn't have any battery issues.

I have used this brand of battery before and I find it to be dependable in keeping charged. I bought this one to replace another one I have had and been using for a number of years! I would highly recommend this product.
